Just started with the lavatube and for now I am using a 2 ohm cartomizer. I made my own drip tip out of the black rubber finger grip tube from a pen. I am adding liquid after approximately 20 puffs just to keep that fresh full taste of flavor. I will be getting 3 ohm boge cartomizers, and a drip tip in soon and I will be ordering a tank as soon as I can. Will having the tank solve this for me?

4.2V at 2 ohm is a hot vape. The wick is probably having trouble keeping up with you, and isn't drawing the juice fast enough. Also, with that hot a vape, the flavor is taking a hit anyway.
If you don't want to refill every 20 puffs, try removing the carto and flicking it like a mercury thermometer to force the liquid down in the carto. Then wait a minute for the wick to absorb some new liquid. Just as much trouble as refilling IMHO, so....
A tank will definitely help. You will definitely get a cooler vapor with the Boge 3.0, and thus more flavor, but the wicking delay will still be there.

^^^Disclaimer: I am a still a noob, so this is mostly based on reading ECF with a little common sense and experience thrown in. Take this advice with a grain of salt^^^

What is the PG/VG of your juice? You don't want it too thick (too much VG) or it won't move quickly enough to rewet the coil area. And I also avoid all opaque or cloudy juices (typical dark but sometime light) that drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing - sediment will crap up a carto quickly, clogging the stuffing, baking on the coil, ruining airflow, wicking, vapor and flavor at an accelerated rate

And in general, the hotter you vape the faster the coil will vaporize juice AND the easier the carto will singe (so it becomes more critical to keep the carto damp.

Never thought of ratio. Its 25pg/75vg. Too thick I guess

Typically, people go with 70/30 or 80/20 (PG/VG) with cartos. The tank will make PG/VG inconsequential.
Another thing that happens is that some juices have sediment which clogs everything up and slows wicking.
Flavoring used in juices can also affect the overall viscosity. Light juices, typically the fruits and such, are thinner, and darker juices, such as tobacco, are thicker.

Great "tip" on the rubber finger grip drip tip! I use atty/carts during the work day but prefer cartos around home but the ends are not comfortable on my lips. My intention is to order drip tips on my next order, which I'm trying to postpone to get my newbie spending under control, so after reading this I've added a rubber finger grip to my carto and it not only makes it more comfortable, it's giving me a shot-gun hit of vapor. Love it!
