I tried them but wasn't impressed enough to keep using them. They drain my batts faster. I didn't see much of a difference but some swear by them. It can't hurt to try one if you're interested in them.

I am not really interested because in theory (and real life) with dual coils you'll need a lot more amps to get the same watts compared to a single coil. That's why i am asking... i am curious really!

If you have a mod that can put out enough amps to maintain about 6.5v loaded voltage, they put out a huge amount of vapor. Lets you take a shorter draw, 2-3 seconds vs. 4-6 seconds. For me, I can still taste the filler, like any "filler" carto...blech!!

I made it a point to order single coils after using dual coils for a while.

I haven't noticed an appreciable difference, except a lack of "sparks", little spatters of hot juice hitting my tongue.

Might not notice a difference because i use the humble kgo as opposed to something fancier but eh, my :2c:

I don't really know why we have dual coil. I do know however that a TW DCT is better than the standard ego-c cone shaped atty. Much more vapour, much easier to inhale. at the moment, I would even consider it to be better than a TW torpedo chrome clearomizer (TW's take on a CE4 long wick). The only downside is you can't rebuild them.
