Hey guys,

This is a flashlight mod that is really small for dual voltage. I made one with a 400 series atty but only single voltage http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/23315-401-flashlight-mod.html . This one Runs 1 14500@3.7v or x2 cr2@3.0v each for 6v vaping. It has a 510 atty, nice recessed polished aluminum atty connector bushing, small 4mm black tact switch and original on/off rear switch for turning the unit off for storage. The inside diameter of the shell was a snug fit even for the 14500's and was way to small for cr2's so I had to bore it out to make them fit.

Cheers

All I can say is WOW!!, Every day is something new with you.. I wish I had the time to make these things, but I can surely say they would not look as nice as yours do. Real quality craftsmanship..Im sure any one of these you have made lately are making many people envious. Nice work Cisco!!

Okay, stop modding! You have a problem, time to admit it and get some help. You're tearing through an assload of e-cig batteries, shorting the supply for the rest of us, and quite frankly making all the other casual modders like me look bad! Dammit listen to me, you send me all your mods RIGHT now and check yourself in for treatment. I'm PMing you my address, you send me all those mods AND the batteries AND the chargers, and you agree that if you ever mod again , you get in touch with me, you give me that mod and go back for some more help. I'm now your sponsor and that means I'm the boss of you. MODANON, call them, it's actually my number so you can keep in touch.

:D

Seriously.....nice job.....all your mods......excellent. That little lighter mod you made last time would sell in large numbers on here....keep it up.

LOL youfillintheblank,

Cisco, what can i say, i can't keep saying nice things about your mods, even though you well deserve it, but i ran out of words.
I guess all i can add is KOOL !

I still have to figure out how you do to make them look so "finished", i know you have some trick with the nylon bushings that i really never use. Maybe you have a "secret" tool that i don't know of.

Anyway...

Thanks for all the great comments guys, as usual I appreciate them.

Yes, I am addicted, my head is exploding with ideas and I cant stop it...:D I have a Modders Anonymous meeting tonight.
youfillintheblank can you my sponser?

I love the thrill of modding, talking the first vape off of a new mod is very satisfying. There are plenty of modder's on here that know exactly what I mean.

I make these all in my basement by hand 1 at a time( with a little help from simple machinery). I spend a lot of late nights designing and drawing details until I feel that I have it down and ready to build. There is nothing worse then spending hours on a build and in the end it doesn't work or was a bad design. I am very meticulous so I don't like to build it until I know it will look clean. I cant even look at anything the same anymore....:D

When I first came here I know absolutely nothing about how e-cigs worked, this site has given my a complete education on every aspect of e-cig function, and then some. Without this site and its contributors ( you all know who you are)I would probably have gone back to analogs and never have connected with all you fine people....:)

Cheers

i know your really busy modding and all but i really want one of these! Do you sell any of your mods or could you do a complete step by step with links to all items needed? or just tell me to go to hell lol. Cisco you have some of the cleanest builds! Nice work just doesn't even to begin to describe your work!

Hey Kard,

Thanks for the comments, there well appreciated.

I would love to do a mod guide for this and many other mods that I have made, the problem is there is machining involved. There is no real parts list to give other then a tact switch and some aluminum and nylon stock rods that where machined.. I have access to a lathe and materials at my disposal. This is not a tool that most people would have or even have access too. Also the time involved machining these intricate parts is not something that's even remotely cost-effective on a one off basis. I could spend over an hour making 1 bushing. Do I sell these? A few here and there but I dont think the market can bear another mass produced cheapo flashlight mod especially with all the custom, made from scratch ones that are available now.

I think this particular flashlight model might be relitivaly simple to mod using some regular stock hardware items. I will try to mod one with regular tools and parts. If I can, I will put up a guide so everyone can have a go at it.

I knew there was more to it!

I am obviously another one of those that don't have access to a lathe and if i did, i would still be standing in front of it trying to figure out where to start.

Still, your work with commercially available flashlights and lasers is the cleanest i have seen in the forum, lathe or not.
