I have a cracked tank. Slight, hairline crack but you can feel it from inside and outside of the tank and of course it leaks. I was thinking of using duct tape to seal it up and continue using the tank until I am able to purchase and a replacement arrives (which takes ages from where I order). I was wondering if there is any health danger in doing this? I figure the juice will surely be making some (even if minuscule) contact with the adhesive of the tape and I'm thinking the juice will get contaminated with adhesive. Is this even an option I should explore? I just want to use my tank right now! Apologies if this is one the most absurd posts on this forum ; )

Not something I would personally do. You're right about the adhesive making contact with the tank, and then you're going to be vaping that unholy mixture. I'd definitely avoid it.

Do you have a carto or something you could use in the meantime? Even if you only have punched cartos, you can cut a piece of the carto condom to cover the holes, and wrap a rubberband/similar around that to keep it in place and keep it from leaking.

Don't put tape on a leaking tank.
