Dull brass on GGs

I have noticed that a lot of brass on those GGs are dull and desperately needs TLC;

I have been using these products for over 10 years and they never fail to amaze me with the ease with which you achieve a high lvl of shine.

That stuff will shine alum brass nickel whatever you can throw at it in a minute or 2.

What I do is cut a strip,and just squeeze it with my hand and twist it around the part I want to clean,then under water,then buff with microfiber cloth.

Look for Lusterlace strips (motorcycle section) they have a couple sizes,get what you feel works better for you (I use narrow and cut them to size)

Got a Slim to look like new in about 10 minutes inside out threads included.

I've used Flitz which is something that was recommended by a few members here. Have you used it? If so, can you compare the end result between the two products?

Nah,I can only vouch for Lusterlace,but its not just how well it works,its how fast and how easy!

I have been using it on the polished alum parts on my sportbikes for years;all I did was wet sand alum on parts I made then used Lusterlace for a mirror finish!

I gotta add that it doesnt involve pastes,its a liquid impregnated type of cloth that looks like pink isolating fiberglass

personally I like the look of the tarnished brass better and when it's tarnished the fingerprints do not show unlike the polished brass

I like tarnished look too, but have a buffing wheel with rogue so I can mirror shine anytime.

Now if Ody were to come out in brass parts I definately put wheel to use

I've been using Flitz, but looking to try something different. What bothers me, frankly, is the smell. Aroma is such a big part of the vaping experience, I just get really irritated when I have this nasty chemical smell right under my nose as I'm trying to enjoy a nice vape

I use Flitz, works great, and I can have the brass showroom pretty in 2 minutes. But, brass will oxidize pretty quick, so it's dull again in a few days. So I generally don't worry about it.

I'll pretty it up before the ATL meet up, so it's in it's full glory, but that's just pretending my everyday GG is my fancy eatin' GG

Personally when the parts are available , the end cap and centre tube in SS, I intend to get myself a gold plating setup and gold plate the contacts, switch, end cap, telescopic tube, and ody base, top cap and mouthpiece in 24k gold. No more polishing brass for me then
