If you're getting juice leakage or juice in your mouth when you take a drag you've just got too much liquid in there. You can take the polyfill out of a cartridge with tweezers and lightly squeeze some of it out with a paper towel, then replace it.

When you refill a cartridge all you have to do is drip juice onto the polyfill until it looks moist on the top but not puddled in the little cup. Eventually the polyfill gets pushed down and it won't make contact with the mesh bridge in the atomizer, you'll find that it isn't making good vapor for very long. When that happens you can fluff it up a couple of times with tweezers, straight pins or other sharp objects and replace it. That'll keep it going a bit longer. Eventually you'll have to just replace the polyfill or put a new cartridge on. Most people get tired of cartridges pretty quickly and just get a drip tip, or switch to cartomizers.

You could try the Pyramid Tea Bag mod to replace the filler. It seemed to work better in the cartridges as I remember, but it's been a long time since I used a cartridge. Try doing a search on ECF, or YT for the specifics.

Theoretically, the carts can be used for a very long time even if you have to put new filler in periodically. They are a little finicky in that if too full, juice in the mouth. Not full enough, no taste or flavor. Cart totally empty and the atty gets too hot. You should be able to get the hang of them after just a few tries.

Thanks everyone. I think I've been overloading the cart with juice which for some reason i thought was required to get a decent vape session happening. I might also give cartos a try. Constantly refilling the cart + atomizer combo plus constant charging of the 510 battery has me buggin out... I just blew an atty... got too hot :( I'll give your suggestions a shot and definitely look into the Pyramid Teabag mod.

Just trying to hang in there and master this damn pv before upgrading to a Riva or kGO **sigh**.

Thanks again for taking time out to answer what must be such a redundant question.

Cartos are much more convenient, if that's what you're looking for.

I'm afraid you can't escape the occasional juice-in-mouth experience though... It can happen with cartos too, for pretty much exactly the same reasons. Overfilling is the main one. Also, I'll sometimes unintentionally hold my PV horizontally or even slightly tipped downwards while idly vaping at my computer with my elbow resting on something. That doesn't work out too well in my favor.

I've noticed that while vaping, a lot of condensation forms on the inside of the carto and mouthpiece. Usually that will just run back down into the filler. But if you hold it like that... well, gravity does what gravity does. Also, heavy vaping will clog whistle tips with condensation. Doesn't matter how you hold it at that point, might as well be sucking liquid with a straw. So if you use whistle tips, you gotta keep an eye on them and clean them out every now and then.

es, I noticed the condensation between the atty and cart... and it totally makes sense that it would contribute to leakage. Plus the constant overfilling. Honestly, the way that I wan to vape, all this messing around is making me want to avoid using this pv... i think it may be time to upgrade to a riva and some cartos if only to maintain my sanity. Plus the parts are interchangeable with my 510... so no loss really.

My decision is so clear. Lovin the advice... Much appreciated :)
