So I am interested in getting a Reo and I was wanting to know what is the difference between the grand, super light reo grand, etc. Also I am wanting to know if I buy the Reo Grand for $146 is that all I need or do I need to buy the metal door etc. The next question is I use a tugboat rda on my tube mods can I use this on the Reo Grand or do I need a different rda or will any rda/rba work?

Thanks in advance.

The super light reo has the holes cut out of it which makes it more lightweight than a regular grand. The door will come with the reo so no need to buy an additional unless you wanted a different color to switch it out/change the look. The tugboat is typically a top feed so would need to be modified to use as a bottom feed if you want to sqounk the juice up from the reo into it. The atty's Rob sells are all modified to use with the reo as a bottom feed. You will probably want to buy the LP version of the grand so that you can use the larger atty's on the grand as well as the LP rm2 if you wanted that. Hope this helps! I know it's a bit confusing at first.

Cngrats, in addition to your Reo, you will need:

Batteries
charger
RBA
wire
wick
ohm meter

These are both Reo Grands, on the left is the LP version, notice that the drip well is shorter. Both of these have RM2 installed, the RM2 on the left is the LP version that has the original size base, it is wider than 14mm so it will only fit on an LP Reo. The RM2 on the right is the standard version that has had the base milled down so it can fit inside of the drip well of the standard Reo. Also note the Reo on theright is an SL version.

LP means "Low Profile"...in other words as I understand it, the catch cup on the top has a "low profile", not tall and fat like what you see on the older standard Reos. DO NOT do what I did and order the wrong RM2...the one you should get to start is the one that says..."low profile reomizer works with lp mods only" (it doesn't say RM2 but it is an RM2). If this information is not correct then someone jump in here and make a correction.

It's just my opinion but I think everyone here will agree that we all need to start with an LP RM2. It just works great and is very easy to rebuild! Good luck, and you may want to order more bottles and O-rings and screws, and for sure an extra spring in case you get a 'short' (because a short ruins your spring). Just look at everything in Accessories.

Have fun! :)

I'd get the button cover, and like a few have mentioned, an extra spring or two. If you order it today, you'll PROBABLY have it by Friday. It will come "signature required" so someone will need to be around to sign for it, or the mailman will just leave a little notification slip and you'll have to go pick it up. You wiill be able to find your tracking info through Paypal. If you don't get an email from them, then check your account and you should find it.

Edit: sorry....if you order today, it won't go out till Friday. I lost track of time and thought this was Tuesday. The down side of retirement.....
