I know you guys will think this question can only come from a noob! OK here it is. So if you get a bottle that contains 11mg nicotine, what does that mean. If each burning cigarette delivers roughly 1mg to the smoker which would be about 20mg per pack. Would you have to vape the whole bottle of e-juice to get the 11mg. How doooooes that work? LOL

No really I am curious. Could possibly if you vaped all day be more addicted to the nicotine than when you were smoking cigs. Obviously I would not want to go back even if that were the case but possibly the withdraw yuckies to go to 0 nic might be a bit harder.

It is also worth noting that the transfer of nicotine via PG/VG vapor is not as efficient as cigarette smoke. In other words, you end up blowing a more of the nicotine out rather than absorbing it. For that reason, comparing the nic content of the juice you consume to the nic content of the cigarettes you used to smoke is not an exact science. You will probably have to adjust your levels up or down based on what feels right, rather than what the numbers tell you.

depends on size of drop too - but I guess it averages out. Dont forget that althought it says it CONTAINS 11mg per ml that wont be the amount you absorb. SOme will be lost through vaporisation, some through inefficient membrane uptake, and some will degrade over time.

I use low level nicotine because I vape constantly, probably 4mL a day...that and I eventually want to make vaping more of a hobby than a need. So that may be another thing to consider when choosing a strength to vape; how much and how often do you intend of vaping?

You will definately tell if you are vaping too much or if your nic levels are too high...Has not happened to me yet,,,I only vape between 11 - 16 mg...of nic and when I am vaping alot like at the computer or at a bar, I only vape 6 - 10 mg...because I know that I will be vaping more...At least, that is what I have been doing these past two months.....Good Luck and of course,,,Enjoy...

Certainly to some extent, but no real research has been done to give exact numbers. The only absorbtion studies done under proper lab conditions showed almost no nicotine absorption. When it was pointed out to the doctor that performed the test that he was using poor quality hardware and liquid, he did an informal test with the proper gear and it came back positive for substantial absorption. However, he (or anybody else) has yet to recreate a proper test with reliable gear.
