e-juices come as 11mgs mostly, a stick of cigarette is about 0.6mg of nicotine, which is better?

hi guys, gonna be trying out vaping in no time but would like to raise a question so please correct me if I'm wrong.

As I'm referring to the details of my Marlboro, it says that its 0.6mg of nicotine per stick.

However it says 11mg of nicotine for 10ml of e-juice. <- are they actually referring to the whole bottle? if so, i wonder how many "puffs can i take" with 10mg of e-juice? assuming that 10puffs=1stick of analog

above all, vaping is still a better alternative than analogs, without all the harmful contents. :)

thanks yall

The nicotine rating is xxmg per 1ml, so in your example you have 11mg nicotine and a 10ml bottle, therefore there will be 110mg of nicotine in the entire bottle.

The thing that gets over looked when people are trying to figure out how many mg's they should get is ABSORPTION of nicotine. A cigarette actually has about 8mg of nicotine (I think) but the average smoker only absorbs about 1mg or less when they smoke it.

Nobody knows for sure how much nicotine you are absorbing when you vape. In fact if you and I sat down and vaped using identical e-cigs and identical juice we would each end up absorbing nicotine differently and one of us will end up with more nicotine than the other.

So how much mg's should you vape? As much as it takes to make you stop smoking! Most people find that 18-24mg juice works best to begin with. Most people who start with 11mg will continue to smoke. AND, don't forget, you are also trying to replace the 4000+ other chemicals in tobacco cigarettes, so if you need to have a higher mg nicotine content to do that then do whatever works. You'll know if you went too far because you'll feel nauseous, just like when you stayed up all night smoking and felt sick to your stomach. Plus: you must, must, must drink a lot more water when you vape - it's a humectant so it'll dry you out and you'll get a headache if you don't.

Nicotine in itself is no more dangerous than caffeine - EVEN according to the FDA. If you need to go higher than 36mg, then something else is wrong and you want to look into using both the e-cig and some other smokeless reduced harm product (like snus) to supplement your chemical habit until you feel comfortable in stepping that down.

Good luck!
