*Well for starters, I read this thread. All I can say, is jolly rancher martini from vaporrenu has awesome NH (nasal hit)
*I've also handed my 808 to a customer to sign their receipt with (I work in a hippie store, they thought I was handing out free paraphernalia.)
*Stuck it in my hair like I do with my pens, then spent hours looking for it (much like I do with my pens)
*Stared down a drip tip with the button pressed and had juice shoot into my eye
*vaped while lying down and dropped my pv on my face
*Fallen asleep with it in my mouth and drooled all over and into it.
*Almost chucked it out the car window ( I now vape right-handed when driving)
*Tried to ash out of a closed car window ( with my pv and with analogs.)
*Dropped it on the car floor and almost crashed trying to find it before it caught my car on fire. Doh!

I'm sure I'll be adding to this list soon, lol.

Well besides some juice to the eye on a couple of occasions I have been ok. My wife on the other hand.......

  • Tried changing the T V channel with her eGo and wondered why the channel didnt change when she pointed it at the box and pressed the button.
  • Went out of the shopping mall the other say to vape and cupped her hand around the end of the PV due to high winds
  • Was filling her dual coil with a syringe, however had omitted to take the needle protector end cap off. Shot across the room like a bullet spraying juice everywhere in the process - in my office no less

I haven't done anything er, "absent minded" :D, but I can burn out a 510 atomizer in matters of minutes sometimes. Doesn't matter what I do, keep it wet, let it dry out a little, hit it hard, hit it light, vape for 2 minutes and rest for 5, etc. Longest on an atomizer was about 9 days with a 901, shortest was about 15 minutes with a 306, average is about 8 hours.

Switched to cartos...they last at least a week, and if they burn out, that's $1.75 as opposed to $8...

I have not had atomizers go so quickly but they don't last me very long with out cleaning and cleaning and setting for 24 hrs to dry, and when I pop them, is when I do a Dry Burn because you can't see the coil. So I'm with you, rather spend $1.75 instead of $8, and you get a new coil in the new cartomizer for $1.75

+1 to that, before my mods I'd say MOST of the money I spent vaping was on atomizers. And if you happen to get a bad one, that's $8 down the drain as opposed to $1.50 with cartomizers.

though i really liked the taste of dripping better, just isnt fiscally responsible of me to continue doing so

Yeah...I almost went back to smoking, I was getting so p:)ssed! I was getting so frustrated I did start smoking again after three weeks, but only 3-5 a day, rather than 15! Yeah, if I'm going to burn something up, a buck seventy-five is a LOT better than $8! But I have been having incredibly good luck with the cartos; the Boge LR, the CE2 2.5 and the Joye cartos. I LIKE the Joyes now the best of all. I was leery because of all the atties I fried, and sure enough, I burned the first on in 25 minutes! THEN I found instructions on filling them! Now they work for a while...before I lose them! ;)

I left mine in my shirt pocket last night. When my wife got home she threw a load of clothes in the washing machine . . . along with my Volt battery. I fished it out of the washing machine mid-cycle and threw it into a bag of uncooked rice over night. I'm trying to charge it now, but I don't think it survived.

Oh well, my stupidity is Volt's gain.

The dumbest, and possibly the most embarrassing thing I ever did was put my PV with a full E2 carto in my pants pocket before doing a Power Point presentation in front of about 60 people.

Needless to say, the carto leaked and by the time I felt it I had a nice wet spot about 2” from my pants zipper.

Moments like this are why they allowed/encouraged light hazing in schools not too many years ago?
Back in 'the day' the boss might have made you wear a diaper to work the next day ;)
See, it's not so bad...

If you say so. But then again, you weren't the one standing there in front of 60 people with a wet spot on your pants.

Sorry, my point was missed...

Stuff like this does happen to me and it's embarrassing.
I just remember growing up that it could always get worse (and usually did).

On the plus side, it was spread around...so NO ONE was immune from it ;) A kick me sign on your back? Oh well...8 other folks in the office have one too *chuckles*. Oh well...those are times long gone. Someone would probably sue these days.
