Dumping the battery

When a regulated vw mod reaches the lower end of its battery power do most or all mods dump their batteries charge to keep your settings until they shutdown?

Most will stop firing when the battery gets down to about 3.2 volts. That's high enough to keep all the settings, just not high enough to fire safely.
