Just bought a Duracig eGo T XL and worked fine ( big vap ) for about a half our. Now all I get is maybe a puff out of both atomizers. Both batteries are fully charged ( green light ). I know about the over heating thing and the atomizer getting to hot, but could I have already burnt out the coils in the atomizer so fast?

Really frustrated right now. It was such a good feeling to have that big vap and me finally finding a replacement for the coffin nails. Now I am back on the cigs hoping a over night battery recharge will remedy the problem.

Any feed back of similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Not familiar with Duracig. I usually recommend Joye brand because then you know you are getting original manufacturer parts. Were your atomizers low resistance? Some atomizers are better quality than others but it's always recommended to have spare attys, especially if you are vaping low resistance because they seem to die more easily.

Did you try blowing out the attys? Maybe you flooded them? And did you check the threaded connection to make sure there is no juice or juice film on any of the thread or recesses?

I got the same problem with the cheap local smoke shop e-cig. It's called "Pure Smoke" and I couldn't get anything out of it at first. Then I read on here where there is a technique for puffing. A light draw to get started then a deep 4 or 5 sec draw to your mouth first and then inhale it. The experience was much better but left me wanting more so I'm in the process of upgrading.

Hi DataPhreak and dormouse,

There was no heads up to blow the primer out or any other prep before I started. Instructions just said to recharge batteries and be aware of flashing light warning of over heating the atomizer.

I think it maybe something with too much of the vap juice getting out. Did not know ecigs were so high maintenance. If I can't get this thing working tomorrow, I am gonna demand a refund!!!

Many thanks for your replies.

Thanks for sharing your experience mohawkx. Very frustrating to find out that I bought a inferior product. Spent over $100 USD on a ecig that lasted less than 30min before it started to crap out on me. I see all these vids of people raving about their ecig while getting huge vaps. These Duracigs gave me about 10-15 big vaps and now hardly a puff.

OK Guys,

Absolute embarrassment time. Just found that I was not locking the mouth piece in all the way. Getting HUGE vapes now. Thank you all again for replying. Maybe have a laugh at my over angst post. Kicking my self in the ... now.

I wonder if those first few vapes were just the primer fluid that is originally on the unit. That probably didn't taste too good.

Glad its a newbie forum. Yeah, your probably right. Never did have the mouth piece locked in properly so I thought everything was A-OK then nothing. Now getting even bigger vapes. What a relief!!
