I know it's too late to win anything, but now that I finally have a day off and a moment to think about my mother I just want to say:

My mother was a very passionate woman. That included her temper. She was far from the best mother. But, not the worst either. The best memories I have of her are about what she was like when there was a serious medical emergency. Her passion and strength would fill the room with its intensity. She was the one person in the world that I would want by my side in a really serious medical situation.

That's when her true self shined.
