colorings/flavorings that didn't get atomized would be my best guess

Yah that would be caramelized flavorings and sugars. Browned but not burnt. Tars would definitely turn up in the Kleenex test.Maybe you can help me out. What is that Brown Gunk is see coating my atomizer wire when it hasn't been clean in 2 weeks of heavy vaping?

Just because someone is a doctor does not automatically mean that they know everything. Perhaps all he knew was what he read in an article somewhere. New evidence on conditions, drugs, diseases, etc. come out on a near daily basis; it can be hard to keep up with all of that information.
Sometimes docs are wrong...they're human.

Another way to think about it is if that's what builds up on your atty, what builds up in your lungs? I've been vaping longer than 2 weeks.
Like I said before, I think vaping is healthier for me than smoking cigarettes. But I would be very naïve to think that there is Absolutely ZERO risk involved in ingesting PG/VG, Nicotine, Artificial Coloring and Artificial Flavorings.
Could it be that the OPs doctor was referring to these residual, Carbon Based Compounds?
Or maybe the atty filters it 1stAnother way to think about it is if that's what builds up on your atty, what builds up in your lungs? I've been vaping longer than 2 weeks.

All I need to do to convince myself is look a a cig filter after ONE USE to convince me that there is nothing worth worrying about coming out of a PV. Being a long time pipe smoker I can tell you, they get gummed up and nasty after only ONE DAY of use. I think you are obsessing over something very minimal, not something to be to concerned with.
