First, I'm new to the forums. I have to admit I've read a ton of information here, and initially started vaping based on information I gathered here. So thank you for everything y'all have provided here.

After reading through a lot of the threads, and ordering through multiple vendors, one question keeps coming into my head (and has been mentioned on these forums before) - has anyone considered making an Amazon-style marketplace to consolidate all of the e-cig/e-liquid vendors in one place? I imagine the ease of ordering equipment and juices from multiple vendors in a single checkout and it really intrigues me.

I am just interested in your thoughts and pros/cons to the idea of an e-cig marketplace. And thanks for being an awesome community. I look forward to meeting a lot of you! :vapor:

I may have made that confusing. I am wondering if there is any interest or if anyone has come up with a large marketplace that deals with multiple vendors. For example, login to the marketplace and checkout with some orders from HHV, BWB, and Pink Spot all at once. Then the marketplace handles those orders and in "x" amount of days you get all of your orders in the mail.

There's no Amazon "style", amazon is a shop. Huge shop that is, but still 1 shop...
Think at least about shipping...

Nope. Amazon also caters to 'merchants.' They share no true affiliation afaik but they do more than likely pay for the right.

Google Checkout is similar.

I think it'd be a good idea. Seems like I don't go one day on here without adding another vendor to the list.

Amazon deemed them 'inappropriate' in 2009

From an online PR site:

Online PR News – 14-October-2009 –e-cigarette Direct.com Sees Increase in Sales As Amazon.com Removes Electronic Cigarettes
Many top internet retailer are going to stop selling and supporting the sale of electronic cigarettes on their website. Amazon.com reportedly has sent a notice to all its resellers with the following message:

We are writing because it has come to our attention that you have listed a product that we have determined is inappropriate for Amazon.com. We have prohibited the sale of electronic cigarettes, electronic cigars, electronic pipes, nicotine nebulizers, refill material for any of these, and similar products on our site.

Went and searched Amazon..... and found lots of stuff for sale, 510 cartomizers, vaporizers..... was surprised..... 57 results

I got a Joye 650 ego PT last week from Amazon. When a merchant wants to be reviewed well on a big marketplace like that, they go the xtra mile for you. Fastest Shipping Ever!! Cross- country in 2 days.

I just go there because Amazon will back-up the sales and I trust their credit-card handling much more than all these small shops.

There are more than 1 kit on amazon. 2 pages of HW at least.
Amazon charges a lot for "opportunity" to sell on their website.
Sell on Amazon marketplaces | Pricing

I like the fact that vaping is sorta cheap.

P.S. I've bought from 3 vendors using paypal, both liquid and HW.

Us and Canada based vendors can not accept paypal (if you have used them to pay for an order please do not post the names here). Sellers and or buyers using paypal for these things with a non approved vender risks having their accounts frozen and fines.

There are a few exceptions, I do know of one mod maker who accepts paypal, but he went through paypal and because he doesn't sell everything needed they did approve him (he doesn't have batteries, chargers, wicks, wire, or juice)

Now if a company has their home base over in the UK but has an US outlet, they are allowed to accept paypal also.
