I started on the e-cig over 5 months ago. I quit real cigs 2 days after I started on the e-cig and have not had one since. I been smoking for 12 years and had never been able to stop real ones. I tried EVERYTHING too. E-cig is the only thing the let me get off the real things. Also since I started I cut the nic lvl ever few months till I was down to 0 nic. Now I dont even use the e-cig which is crazy caz I never thought I would get off that lol. Just another sucess story for the e-cig!

I’ve smoked analog cigarettes for 25 years. For 20 of those years I smoke around a pack a day. For the last 5 I cut back to just over a half a pack per day. When I started using an electronic cigarette, I’ve only smoked 3 analog cigarettes in the past 6 weeks; I’ve been exclusively vaping other than those 3 analogs.

I ,quit 3 weeks ago,on accident! I invested in ecigs, for when I want to smoke in the the car,or in the house without all the .....ing that happenned every time I lit a real cig! Well,I have been smoke free for almost a month! I say it was not a piece of cAKE! The first 3 days were hard for me! But,I thought Wow!,its working for me,O.K.,I will try to quit. I was a 2 pack a day smoker! PS. Husband very proud of me!:)

Your story is almost exactly like mine. I never intended to quit, I just liked these better and after wrestling with wanting a real cig the first 3 days, it was soooooo easy!

I do not smoke analogs exept of the 2 times I had battery issues with my e-cig. I`m about to solve that and hopefully no more analogs in the future.

If I do not have the e-cig around or if there is a techical problem with it, or something else is stopping me to use it... I`ll probably light up an analog.

I still do not consider myself as a quitter as the habbit and nicotine addiction is still there...

On the other hand 10 years - 1 pack at least a day. Never tried to quit. E-cigs discovery was like a miracle to me!

I voted I've cut down on analogs. I will be one week with my ecig tomorrow. I've gone from a pack and a half a day down to around 10-13 analogs per day. IF I would have had more knowledge that I'd need more supplies with my ecig then just the starter kit and extra carts, I think I would be straight ecig by now. My goal is to be analog free by the end of next week.

Maybe someone has already asked this, but:
Is there any way we can get this poll in front of all those g*dd*mn nay sayers????
Christ, right now, with 77% of people having quit cigarettes, we have surpassed all the other NRT products with regards to effectivness without being an NRT product!!! What more do they need?!!:-x
My best,

U can't judge effectiveness by who sits in an e-cig forum..Anyone who tried one and went back to analog's, or anyone who quit, hungout in the forums and then went back to analog's would have also given up the forum.

Maybe that all sounds chinese. What I am saying is the unsuccessful, unhappy people are not in this forum voting. They are long gone

Took me a couple times, but yes, I see what your saying. I still think showing a poll of 500 some people, 77% of which stopped smoking, is better than any NRT success rate.
