Hi Neriah! Good you don't have to cover the whole thing although $2500 is a big enough BITE. 8 G's for RX seems a little... crazy!

I can't begin to figure it out. I should request an itemized bill just for the fun of it.
Figuring out the insurance thing, I don't know. He gets his diabetic stuf for zip, I get my asthma stuff for zip. Yet, other routine things are pricey. Shrugs shoulders..
It's rare for anyone to have an easy walk away unless they are on medicaid maybe.
Between premuins, deductables and co-pays- we're all taking a bigger bite every year it seems.
I am just thankful we have decent coverage at a reasonable price so far.
The fair was fun. I met up with Rita and Judy- my old DON and medical records nurse from an old job. We looked at the crafts building- the quilts and weavngs were lovely. Hit the health fair building and o get our blood typed among oter thinfs. We made it to the agriculture building and the Grand Stand.
Oddly, I bought a pair of clogs. The vendors were from Sweden. They saw the last name on the credit card and got all chatty. I told them were my dad's people came from and we were off.

I had the traditional Tiny Tim's donuts, a corndog and some peppermint bon bon ice cream. I skipped the roasted corn.
I was amazed at the prices being rounded up to six bucks- the magic number was five.
I will show you some pictures when I get them developed.

Wow, sounds like you have a very full day, and a fun one! I'm jealous. We did nothing but try to escape the heat by staying inside. Tomorrow is our holiday "celebration". Just a quiet barbecue with friends. I like the clogs, they look comfy. I'm partial to the cow hide ones. 
Football all day today. Not very productive, but highly entertaining.

If that's why he hasn't posted, he doesn't like ECF anymore. I haven't seen him post anywhere (not that I'm stalking, just worried since his last few posts discussed how ill he was feeling).

This lazy bones spent the night at the emergency vet with one of the dogs. Finally got to bed at 7:30 am and woke up at 2:30 pm.

Got some butts on the smoker... Pulled pork for everyone.
That's one thing we don't have in AU, at least, it's rare enough that I've never seen or had it. I actually had to look it up.
I don't have any kind of smoker, but I found this recipe that says you can do it in an ordinary oven, do you think it would come out okay (any comments welcome)?
I have to say it sounds rather nice!
I'm sure it would taste great hobo...
