Last year we got dumped on. Several 20+ inch snowfalls. I don't think northern Maine is getting snow either. Even my mother isn't getting much and she lives on the side of a mountain in New Hampshire. I just got back from NY and they haven't had snow all winter. Strange days...

Had a rough couple of days.

On Friday, while my wife was driving to work, a metal pole went through here windshield. Attached is a crappy picture... By the time I had gotten there, the fire department had already extracted the pole from the dashboard. Fortunately Liz wasn't hurt (physically), but she was definitely traumatized. I don't blame her. I'd have a very hard time getting behind the wheel again after something like that. Hell, when I was a teen I had a nasty bike accident and I haven't been on one since. It was months before I could close my eyes and not relive the accident.
