Thanks, SC. Now I am waiting for my order to arrive. I feel optimistic. I think that e-cigs are here to stay. E-cigs can help millions to quit smoking. We have to spread the word. Thanks, SC, for your kind words of encouragement. Blessings in Christ Jesus. Orly

You have a great attitude and to me that is huge. My best advice is to be prepared. Always have your batteries charged, have plenty of eliquid and supplies so that you are never without. Best of luck.

Welcome to ECF Orly!
I'm glad you came here seeking a way to quit smoking tobacco.
There are many of us who are willing to help you find the best pv so you can quit using cigarettes.
If there is anything I can do please feel free to ask {any one of us!} for help.
I wish you all the best using your new pv when it comes!

Wussies. I shoot myself in the shoulder each morning just to feel what nerve endings I have left after wrestling a Peanut butter Snickers out of the jaws of a twice-rabid Great White shark that was trained by Seal Team Six to infiltrate the Persian Gulf. By the time 0700 rolls around and I'm done extracting the bullet and giving myself stitches I'm already choosing which Silverback Gorilla to face-punch into making my morning coffee that I scare into grinding itself. Pfft. And even if I did all this I wouldn't be half the bad ... that this guy is...

Thanks, cigarbabe. Gracias, lolady. Since I place my order this morning I am feeling the excitement of quitting analogs cigs. Now I am just worry about how long is going to take me to get used to e-cigs. I think I will have withdrawal symptons for a few days. I need to get adjusted to e-cigs. Gracias, lolady, en Cristo Jesús. Thanks, cigarbabe, in Christ Jesus. Orly

Hi Orly and I'm happy you found pv's and you will see they are going to work for you!
I didn't want to quit smoking only cut down on my 2 pack a day habit. When I got my eGo I tried to use it when I wanted a cigarette instead of automatically having a smoke and in doing so two days went by and I realized I had only smoked 3 cigarettes! Not the 4 packs I normally would have smoked. I was shocked and very pleased and the whole time while I was using the pv I never had had any cravings at all. Not a single one! On the third day I tried to have a cigarette but found they tasted so horrible I couldn't stomach the taste or the smell and threw it away and I never used analogues again. In three days I had unintentionally quit smoking. I'm not suggesting that this will happen the same way for you I'm just telling my story so you can see anything is possible with these wonderful alternatives in the arsenal to quit smoking! :D If you are having cravings I suggest you ask one of us for advice to help you move past it. It might be as simple as using a higher nicotine juice or an adjustment of/in your device.
I sincerely wish you much success on this journey!

Wow Fred actually replies to your PM's & keeps doing whatever you ask-man have you got pull or what-lucky you-he basically ignores me.

You and me both...Guess that answers the question about whether he looks at emails and pm's....That would make us officially ignored. Ah well, **** happens.

I believe he answers DC2 because he can see that he is also interested in doing what is best for the board.
It doesn't have anything to do with pull I'm sure.:2cool:

Thanks, cigarbabe. I don't have my e-cig. I just ordered it today. I can see that you didn't have any withdrawal symptons. That's great. I hope to make the transition in a smooth way like you did. Your story is really inspiring to me. I will let you know after I get my e-cig. Thanks a lot in Christ Jesus. Orly

I see a couple new people here on the board, with familiar names...So, to those I say "hi, and welcome aboard. Have a vape, a good talk, whatever the moment calls for, just make yourself at home" :)
Orly, you being one of em..nice to see you'll be able to surpass most hurdles, and found the right people from the start. Vaping is pretty easy to get used to...If ya need some nic, vape your head off untill you dont need anymore. Beware those times like after meals, with morning coffee..those were "hardest" (persay) to get used to vaping instead. So, have PV ready during critical times, and you'll be off ciggies in no time. You dont have to stress it either...if you need a smoke, then do so. Just keep trying one at a time, till you realize like CB did, and most us, that you havent smoked in days. It'll come. No stress, a day at a time. Success is worth a little effort and patience. For some its immediate, for others over a couple weeks. Yours might take a couple weeks, so dont get down if it does..just expect it.
And, if ya feel like you need a care package, feel free to say so. Im willing to offer up some goodies to help ya get going, and learn the ropes, try flavors, equipment, etc. . Just do the same someday for someone else. ;) We'll help ya any way we can to give big tobacco the ol' "one finger salute" :p
