Good Lord

buy a pack
smoke em
pick your e-cig back up

No problem

What is wrong with you? Smoking again was what made me feel horrible today. OK, here's a way to insure I'm back to normal. Start smoking another pack of cigs, meanwhile, step my nicotine in the ecig back up to match the cigs, so when I get off the cigs, I wont feel withdrawal again.

No thank you. I didn't quit smoking cigs for two months painlessly to just go and do this again.

I think he was trying to say: It's not big deal. Do what you gotta do and move on.

I've smoked a few cigs since I started vaping (all totally gross) but I have never once felt guilty about it. I am not doing this to "quit" per se... I am doing this because I enjoy smoking and this is a helluva lot better for me than cancer sticks. I don't smell, I can breathe, blah blah blah... Don't be hard on yourself, it happens, no biggie. I don't freak out if I do smoke because I know that cigs will NEVER take me away from vaping ;-)

No, I didn't misunderstand you. It was just my way of responding. That's why I posted again. It's on this page, did you see it?

OK, it's actually on the previous page now. Jeez, 10 posts per page sucks.

YAY - Hi folks.

Positivity there - Deuxtrouble here (doubletrouble - mom's nickname for me and my sis. All of my mom's grey hairs are courtesy of us :) ) I did not read the other thread - but I did read this one and first of all - June bugs.....g-ross. Bad, bad memories of June bugs. Driving - dusk, windshield, I think you know.

I posted a bit about me in the new member section but anything you wanna know just ask. If I can't answer, I will make up something :)

I am 41, married to my best friend - who I met on an internet dating site, six months cigarette free, 3 children, 21, 18 and 9 yep, oops on that one but I have such a great relationship with her. I work in communications. I have 2 kittens and a rescue dog who has had a horrible life and am glad that I can give him a great remainder of his time here. I am a sucker for love stories and wear my heart on my sleeve. What you see is what you get - unless I am drunk and then I am WAY more fun.

I have a degree in Social Work - hence a pretty open mind. I use my social work skills every day but could never find my niche in the field. Mental health perhaps....

So that is sort of me...seriously, you have any questions please ask. I have already started on the road to some good friendships with some of you.

I never registered over there. I stuck around mostly to give moral support, but it doesn't look like it's really needed anymore. Like you said, it's only a couple people still fighting tooth and nail against the change.

Whatever you decide to do, Know that I have appreciated your support and involvement in this thing with us. Your a great person and I'm glad to know you.

I messed up bad the other day. Now I really know the pains in quitting, failing, then quitting again. I'm sorry. I wrote this on the other board.

Don't be sorry, or at least not to anyone but yourself. We've all been there. You know why you did it, and that's the most important thing to avoiding it next time.

Just try again, you'll get there! :thumb:

Edit to add: it took me about 2 months to "get my groove" when I started. If you fall (not fail!), just get back up, move on and start again. No guilt trips!
