OMG - this woman is a grandmother. I don't know why, but I pictured her a little younger. If my grandmother ever talked like she talks.... She's no -lol-, that's for darn sure.

Nah, I mean just post it for informational reasons, just like the stuff Joshua posts. I don't mean for anyone to actually tell them this is why they are wrong.. i'm sure some will get it and some wont.. but if Joshua can do it.. without giving sources, and posting reports that are stripped down for media consumption, we ought at least be able to post stuff like that too, but ours can be more complete with sources and details. I think a lot of that info needs to be countered because they are generating beliefs on many subjects with very little facts. That info is as relevant to a quit smoking forum as is any other info.

Pardon My french (mods) but OH helll No!!... You can stick it in the e-cig forum if you want Evelyn's already on the rampage spoutinghow horrible e-cigs are and how they will seduce all the kiddies and she's going to "educate " herself and pass her e3ducation onto us...yeah.

We better start digging through our research and getting it ready cause she's going to make sure its ugly.

What thread is she talking about and why does she think it's so bad.. it's like she's telling Fred we are breaking the rules or something.

I'm guessing she's referring to the "Beware the..." thread that we closed.

I also find it very interesting that a "long time member" of this forum crawled out of the woodwork right as the e-cig wars were going full force... this person must have thought they had a good opening to come back and maybe we'd forget the hate she evoked,

That would be "slocum" they're referring to. Susan's been a long time member of that board that always challenged the bullies. She came on earlier in the week in defense of you guys. She really doesn't post there anymore, as they made life a bit miserable for her.

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling so great right now. I am also very sorry about your fur baby. I have 3 - 2 kittens and a rescue dog. I have only had the doggie for a year but he has come so far from the cowering, beaten dog that he was and I can't imagine life without him.

Thanks for also answering my question (all of you). Never really looked into PV's (right??) but I am never one just to not examine something before I have an opinion of it so thanks for the information.

It is cold and blech here today (you are in Winnipeg?) - I am in Alberta and the weather is really sucky right now. Rain on and off, clouds and cold but I am still having my bbq tonight.

I live about 1/2 hour from Winnipeg northeast.

It's cooler but sunny today. Blech - that means ugly weather is coming our way again - we always get your leftovers weatherwise!

Ummm... there's something wrong there. Seriously wrong. I'm fairly well convinced this is not just your normal run of the mill anger. I've bean dealing with this kind of vitriol from a family member for well over 20 years and this kind of behavior is very, very familiar. In the case of my family member it comes from a very unhealthy mind.

It is a tragedy, but I think that's what it's doing to me. I'm just not in the right frame of mind to deal with katiem and evelyn's hatefulness.

I am going to stay away from there for a little while and get my head back on track.

I'm not throwing away almost 7 months of being cigarette free now - not because of them.

I had been wondering how much of that hatred you guys were willing to take. Or able to take. At QSMB I guarantee if you go looking for trouble you will surely find it.

This is kinda funny ... I kept hearing you all bemoan your spell checker earlier in this thread (or was it the other one who can remember) and I wondered what you were talking about. All I ever got was a wavy red line under a word. So I would retype it and retype it till I got the red lines to go away. Sometimes it took me a while. I hated those red lines.

Well I realized today you can click on it and select the proper spelling. I am almost embarrassed to admit this. almost LOL

Well I realized today you can click on it and select the proper spelling. I am almost embarrassed to admit this. almost LOL

I have a Real problem with my Firefox spell checker. I cannot assign rules to it. Every time you type the letter I by itself it should always be in capitol letters. I hate having to remember to hit the shift key for the word " I ". I want to make a rule for the darn thing so it will always do this.

I use a mac. I do get the red spelling mistakes and clicking will pop up suggestions, but it will also auto correct words for me and sometimes it's just plain wrong.

I know what you mean...my IPAD did the same thing until I turned spell checking off. It drove me nuts and made me appear illiterate most of the time!
