See now thats the one thing I don't get about you lot in the States. Eggs....mmmmm, maple syrup...mmmm, together, not a chance...LOL.

Eggs, bacon, has browns, tomato go very well together.
Maple syrup, pancakes, vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream go very well together.

:)

Maple syrup goese very nicely with both eggs and bacon.

I think it starts out by it unintentionally getting on one of the aforementioned foods while we're eating our pancakes or waffles...then it progresses to "hey that's not bad!"... eventually it escalates to dipping either or both the foods in question in our syrup...and then for some simply pouring the syrup on.

Well I will leave you guys with that combination. LOL. I do love grits and some of the other southern food such as hush puppies (cant get either over here)

I like grits but even after 5 yrs in the south I eat them the "yankee way" which is to say with butter and sugar (brown sugar is best).

Is vegemite real? I thought it was just clever lyrics...if so wth is it?

From Wikipedia...

Vegemite is a dark brown Australian food paste made from yeast extract. It is a spread for sandwiches, toast, crumpets and cracker biscuits, and filling for pastries. It is similar to British, New Zealand, and South African Marmite, Australian (US owned) Promite, and to Swiss Cenovis.

I also read is was banned in Denmark along with Marmite because it is "fortified with vitamins"... WTF?

EDIT:

From http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/foodanddrinknews/8533896/Marmite-made-illegal-in-Denmark.html

The strongly flavoured dark brown spread made from brewer's yeast has joined Rice Crispies, Shreddies, Horlicks and Ovaltine prohibited in Denmark under legislation forbidding the sale of food products with added vitamins as threat to public health.
Many well known breakfast cereal and drink brands have already been banned or taken off supermarket shelves after Danish legislation in 2004 restricted foods fortified with extra vitamins or minerals.

Ok guys I need opinions on what's going on... the last couple days I'm getting a burning sensation in my mouth when vaping particularly the front edge of my tongue and sometimes my gums(especially when I'm vaping heavily but also when I'm not). The burning sensation is akin to putting hot sauce on ones tongue.

So yeah its a minor inconvenience but anybody got a clue what would be irritating me?

Shannon what flavor are vaping? And is it something you vape all the time?

You're missing out. Oh well. More for me! You can keep your vegemite though... Yes, I am generous. :)

Hey, I wouldn't eat that stuff if it was the last remaining food on the planet. It has to be THE most disgusting stuff ever put into a jar and people who eat it have to be crazy. My wife and kids love it. I hate just the smell of it so much that when they are making a vegemite sandwich in the kitchen I either have to go outside or find some other part of the house to reside in till the stink goes. Call me un Australian I don't care....LOL. IT IS VILE!

It sure is NOT dark brown. It is black as the ace of spades, and stinks...LOL

Yes, it is dark brown, but really REALLY dark brown, very nearly but not quite black.

I love it. Goes well with cheese (Kraft used to make a cheese slice impregnated with it.) Also goes well with Heinz baked beans on toast. A little goes a very long way, so if you ever try it use it very sparingly.

Now I fancy some... I was going to have a full english breakfast today, but maybe I'll just have some english muffins with vegemite. A lot less cleaning up afterwards but not quite as nice. Maybe a bacon, egg and beefburger muffin would be good compromise?

Who will be the first to make vegemite e-liquid? :)

Cheers

Just started. It shouldn't be heard. Vegemite sweats a little. It's an acquired taste but I fully expect to lose two days of lunch and dinner when I try to vape this. And I can ship some down to you. Or down to my family, I have family scattered in Hobart, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney (all father's side).

And while I don't mind Men at Work stuck in my head it always leads to this other random song getting stuck in my head....
