Hey John, I would delve into his habit more though..guide him to proper juice and setup...Most 3 pad'rs just burn up half of em in an ashtray, but still needs asked, just in case. Dudes gonna be a chain vapor...could graduate quickly to 5V mods, or need to. At least discuss high nic, or LR to give him a leg up. ;)

I'm on page 165 and don't know if i'll get caught up tonight. Orly is getting his first kit from liberty flights.. i just spoke to him through PM from QSMB. He smokes 70 cigs a day. If he quits with e-cigs when he could not other ways, all will have been worth it and i'd do it again 100 times over.

He come to us and asked for info. That would not have happened had I not made that post and you guys not followed me over there. He wants to quit both cigs and nicotine but at 70 cigs a day thats really gonna be tough. I wished him the best and told him we are here for him anytime. I suppose you can see why cold turkey failed for him. That whole core addiction fanatics group can kiss my left buttocks for all I care. If Orly never does get off nicotine ( he does have a step down plan to work on, just not sure how thats gonna work for him with his habit) at least his life will have been saved if he can get used to the e-cig.. Thats what it's all about. Perhaps they will read this post ( you know they will) and it will cause a few of them to wake up. Orly, we wish you the best and you can talk to any of us any time. You can do it bud I know you can.

That is the coolest thing John. Another vaper who one day is going to thank his lucky stars that he found an ecig.

Thanks, Magnus... the G4s and CE2 sound like more trouble than they're worth right now... I was planning a road trip coming up and I really shouldn't be dripping and driving. I'll stick with the Boges and dual coils for now.

I'm sold on the latest CE2s from GotVapes. Great performance and taste, and they're using thicker tubes now to help fix the cracking.

I'll admit I don't have much of a data sample on them. They've been so reliable I haven't had to buy many yet. :)

Personally I think people cling to the whole "nicodemon" because when/if they relapse they can blame someone other than themselves. The "nicodemon" made me do it! It's always easier to blame our problems on somebody other than ourselves.

You know what-thats so true-after all those who relaspe just love inventing excuses oh I mean good reasons for choosing to lose their quits.

I just got a pack too. Still using the first one I opened - so far so good after 2 weeks.

Hi Gang!

Well, made the 4 hour trip to my mom's house in Milwaukee. Thought I'd catch up before bed!

Funny you should mention that! Was thinking about it in the shower this Am and i've already mentally formulated an outline that should stay well within the guidelines....

@Edwv30 - please don't take offense to my earlier post. I know you meant well - what I meant by "not accomplishing anything" was that they were never going to open their minds and truly listen, so it was an exercise in futility and just continuing the bickering to keep debating them. That and I could read the frustrated tone in your posts and it was starting to just break down into snipping at each other. My comment about "banging your head on the wall and blood on the carpet" was in reference to what I told Shannon(?) earlier. Basically, by trying to reason and argue with those people, you are, in effect, just banging your head on the wall and all that achieves is blood on your carpet - ie., it only ends up hurting YOU more in the end and the wall will still be there, lol! ;)

I figured it was more directed at me, but Kristen is cool and collected, and well, I wasnt..but on purpose. I wouldnt take it to heart Ed. I think things have happened like they were meant to, and needed to...Im a man of faith like that I guess. :p

Next week I may have to order some of those. When I get back home. I'm pretty easy on my equipment from my lazy-boy to my front porch.

For those that REALLY dont understand WHY we LOOOOVE e-cigs...
E cigs allow you to not miss ciggies. You really dont miss them. Even if you fire one up, you "generally" dont go back..you dont relapse. E cig users CAN smoke again, becuase cigs dont hook us again..they just remind us what we DONT miss. They taste bad now, stink, all of that..and not just us telling ourselves that. They simply arent attractive anymore. THAT my friends, IS FREEDOM from cigarette addiction...So do I care if I use e cigs forever..not really.
Maybe that helps understand why we love em so much.

To me I figure those who truly love to smoke but want to change their delivery system to a "less" harmful way so they don't have to quit well then that makes sense to me after all not everyone who quits is forced into it-some really want to be free of habit/addiction-whatever works should be tolerated just like my nicodemon thing you all poo poo about.

Do like I did. get an Electric bike. I Love my e-bike. It has replaced the car for most things. Does 25 miles per hour with 48 volt lithium ion battery on a 750 watt hub motor for a range of 20 miles. It gets me around town and is fun as heck. I beat cars lots of times due to traffic and not having to worry about staying on a main street. Needs no drivers license or insurance for it. It's classed as a bicycle so I can go places both cars and motorbikes cannot go. People look at me funny, then they want to know all about it LOL. Great for today's gas prices. Cost pennies to charge and only a few hours time.

Er.. not cheap.. 1300 initial cost.

I gave up on bikes. They don't like me.

I was planning a long bike trek from LA to San Diego with a bunch of guys and we were doing some "shake down" trips to get ready. I had just taken my bike in to get the brakes worked on so I thought everything was in working order. I started going down the on ramp to the highway, fairly steep, going fast, enjoying the wind in my face, front wheel falls off... The rest is really fuzzy... I think I said a naughty word...

Your right Chief - things happen for a reason. Maybe John needed to start this cause God knew that Orly needed him and that John had to go through the fire before he was ready to help him.

Just sayin'

Version at least 5 now..and every one was WAY better than the previous...These things should vape themselves by now, be made of gold, and get "ME" rich quick while their at it.

I held out for a loooong time... I'd like the concept but didn't want the hassles I reading about.

Bought my first batch over 2 months ago. Performance was great (I mean really, really great), but the tubes were still prone to cracking and leaking. I dealt with it because the performance was so good.

Second batch has thicker tubes, and no leaking so far out of the 1 I've been using heavily for over a week.

I can't hardly kill the things... out of 11 I've used, only 2 have gone bad... one broken coil and one broken wick. But that was after heavy use.

Your sarcasm isn't lost on me, Beth.

I thought starting a post with "personally" made it clear I was stating my opinion.

The "nicodemon" is a cutesy marketing gimmick. I see all too often sites like QuitNet using the image, and saying things like, "It's not your fault you're addicted to cigarettes. It's the nicodemon! Blame him! PS - He's EVIL!" I think it's HILARIOUS that J&J used him when marketing their NRT products...
