WEll for alot of us we see Nicodemon bidding his time before he throws a monkey wrench into our quits so we see it as someone tryng to get us to lose our quits so to me & others especially early into our quits is how we deal with staying quit. By giving the threat a name.

Honestly, for me, you're give it more power then it should have when you turn it into an evil scary monster and call yourselves junkies. If that works for you, well then I guess to each his own. For me, cigarette smoking is a nasty terrible habit that should be quit. BUT it's not some demon that I have to battle in order to quit, nor am I a junkie who needs to remember that every day lest I relapse. To me, that's starting with a defeatist attitude before you even get out of the gate. I believe in the power of positive thinking. There is no power in negative thinking.

Here is the thing... the CE2 R4/R5 and the G4s all taste cleaner than the Boges, yes. That's true. Very slightly so. Dry burn them a bit just to remove any processing excess.

However, they bloody are unreliable. They leak. They have poor quality control. They have ridiculous variations in resistance. I went full-tilt on G4s and they have soooooooo much promise. But they still fail. The supposed G5 nhaler is carrying might be better, I don't know, but I'm not betting on it yet.

So far I fall back to the Boges and less frequently the SMOKtech dual-coils with filler. -Magnus
Version at least 5 now..and every one was WAY better than the previous...These things should vape themselves by now, be made of gold, and get "ME" rich quick while their at it.

Thanks, Magnus... the G4s and CE2 sound like more trouble than they're worth right now... I was planning a road trip coming up and I really shouldn't be dripping and driving. I'll stick with the Boges and dual coils for now.

I think I found my roadtrip gig...revolution V2...its a usb passthrough box mod, bottom feeder, with a 10 ml bottle...throw on a 2.4 or 2.0 boge..your rockin...for a while.

I'm on page 165 and don't know if i'll get caught up tonight. Orly is getting his first kit from liberty flights.. i just spoke to him through PM from QSMB. He smokes 70 cigs a day. If he quits with e-cigs when he could not other ways, all will have been worth it and i'd do it again 100 times over.

He come to us and asked for info. That would not have happened had I not made that post and you guys not followed me over there. He wants to quit both cigs and nicotine but at 70 cigs a day thats really gonna be tough. I wished him the best and told him we are here for him anytime. I suppose you can see why cold turkey failed for him. That whole core addiction fanatics group can kiss my left buttocks for all I care. If Orly never does get off nicotine ( he does have a step down plan to work on, just not sure how thats gonna work for him with his habit) at least his life will have been saved if he can get used to the e-cig.. Thats what it's all about. Perhaps they will read this post ( you know they will) and it will cause a few of them to wake up. Orly, we wish you the best and you can talk to any of us any time. You can do it bud I know you can.

I gotta be honest on cartos...Ive never once tried a ce2..v-1, 2, 3, 4, or 28th....and that is why. Im a boge fan, working with dual coils now. But cartos in general have a different feel to the vapor..seems more airy, more flavorsome, just different. Cant comment on fillerless models yet

I did try the tank system. Wasn't a total loss cause the battery's I use daily. The tanks have been in the trash for months. That's the last "hype" item I tried. But I was real new to all this.

I can relate on whatever in fact I generally only use to when I'm ticked off...lol. It's even better when it comes from your kid let me tell ya.

Hey guys wave at Neriah she's not sure if she's welcome and I'm not sure my pms are reaching her or maybe I'm not wording them well.

100% welcome Neriah. Even if you don't believe what we believe (and hell, I'm not even sure WE'RE all on the same page), I think you're cool and I'm glad you're here.

Would be nice, but you can bet green or brad would be all over it, making a mockery.

Most of time Beth (Green) is ok now IMO. Brad? He came in Kristin's thread earlier and made a couple posts. I told him if he wanted to be snarky to leave if he wanted to have a discussion to stay... he left. Who knew it could be that easy?

Personally I think people cling to the whole "nicodemon" because when/if they relapse they can blame someone other than themselves. The "nicodemon" made me do it! It's always easier to blame our problems on somebody other than ourselves.

For my road trip tomorrow I went to the local smoke shop and bought some pre-filled for the very first e-cig I ever used. (801)

They taste good and are so easy. Then after I get there I can fill them with some better juice. LOL

That's great, John.

I hope only for the best for Orly. I "only" smoked about 15 a day and the transition wasn't seamless. I can't imagine what it would be like to quit a 3+ PAD habit, especially CT. That's 4+ cigs per hour!

Hi Gang!

Well, made the 4 hour trip to my mom's house in Milwaukee. Thought I'd catch up before bed!

Did someone mention perhaps making a "How to Quit Smoking using an Electronic Cigarette" thread? It would be a very good idea, IMO, and perhaps you could get Fred to sticky it.

Funny you should mention that! Was thinking about it in the shower this Am and i've already mentally formulated an outline that should stay well within the guidelines....

@Edwv30 - please don't take offense to my earlier post. I know you meant well - what I meant by "not accomplishing anything" was that they were never going to open their minds and truly listen, so it was an exercise in futility and just continuing the bickering to keep debating them. That and I could read the frustrated tone in your posts and it was starting to just break down into snipping at each other. My comment about "banging your head on the wall and blood on the carpet" was in reference to what I told Shannon(?) earlier. Basically, by trying to reason and argue with those people, you are, in effect, just banging your head on the wall and all that achieves is blood on your carpet - ie., it only ends up hurting YOU more in the end and the wall will still be there, lol! ;)
