I see Sallie is purple.
Does that mean she's better lookin' than the rest of us?
I'm colorblind so I asked my wife if any of them were a different color. Apparently they are all blue, except for Sallie's which is purple...
They all look blue to me.
It means SOME OF US are better than others.
Or really, it just means we've been here longer, or talk way too much.
Or maybe have no life.
Colors are based on member status...supporting members are purple..vets are blue I think...new ppl are red?....ok, not so sure about ALL colors, but purple pays the bills here...

Thanks for all the explanations folks, makes sense now. Believe it or not I hadn't noticed that people names to the left of their posts were sometimes coloured other than blue too. I guess I'm not very observant.
I thought it might indicate "activity" or something, like some IRC clients change your colour if you're typing.
Must go browse the "helps" and see if I can find out what the member levels are.

The idea that I might remember, however, is sort of wishful thinking I suspect.

No wars, just an unfortunate choice of words on my part that was "misinterpreted". And I will give the benefit of the doubt and assume that the person who pointed it out had only the best intentions.

Why yes, yes it does! Can't you see from my avatar how beautiful I am? And I have two heads. I always thought two heads are MUCH better than one.
Thats the scary thing with smoking-who knows when any of us could be like her-gasping for air like a fish out of water-how sad. Well I'm almost done & I don't own a computer so have fun till I come back on mon. nite.
