Done...if she accepts we should get a plan together on how to help her mom. Some of us can send a kit, others juice, etc.. Do we want to do this via PM?

Diane asks that we don't plan anything or send kits\juices to anyone. She will go over the options with her mom and deal with it from there.

Address yes...but discussion on whos chipping in what, is ok in open. Just no money can exchange. Pretty sure I have some menthol cartomisers for 808 and 510..so that part is easy.

Well I can tell you everything I have is 510...so if we're not doing 510 (or both) all I can help with is liquid.

Diane will order the kits and juices if her mom decides to try e-cigarettes. She really wants to discuss everything with her mom first and I agree.

Well yeah you don't want to force it on anyone... its sometimes a big help though if you can try some juices for free. Then again I was ok with the 1st tobacco juice I tried until I tried some others.

Behind you
I switched to the Hybrid thread view mode this morning and ever-since I've had the bloody worst time trying to figure out what's going on. Now I switched back to try to catch up and I'm even more lost because I can't correlate posts. A dram or three of whisky should set me straight.

In the meantime... the important part is...... let me know where to send what once everybody has asked permission and understood the goals. I'm in. -Magnus

I'd suggest a Bloog Maxxfusion if going the KR808D-1 route.
And if it ever comes down to it, I'll buy the whole damn kit and send it myself.

Just let me know if Diane changes her mind and it's done.
Seriously, I can afford it, no skin off my back.

From what I hear, that there is a darn good kit. I think they use 2.4 ohms now, which KICK ***....best simple, auto setup available imo.
ok, 510 T is great auto bat now too.
Good lookin out ;)

<sighs, shakes head> I don't what to think about you 510 people...

Does the Bloog play nice with standard 808 stuff? I thought I'd read that the batteries are regulated to a lower voltage, and the cartos matched to it, which would make interchange difficult, any truth to that?

Hey it made the ego transition nice and smooth....though in retorspect I wish I'd started with the ego or an echo.

You can do a lot worse than a 510... really.

Hah, I did do worse! My first was a Smoking Everywhere kit from a mall. My 2nd was a 510 and it got me off cigs for good. At the time there weren't cartomizers for 510s yet, so I switched to an 808 for convenience.

Now it's hard to know what to recommend cause the tech has come so far, there's a lot of great stuff no matter which way you go.

I was kidding with the 510 people thing :)

Slim chance they wouldnt..I was under the impression bloog just uses 2.4 ohms now in cartos, and thats why they produce so well. I use 2.4 cartos on my mods, and I dig em. But threading doesnt make a difference, cause I tried a 2.4 on an 808 a long while back..and while Im working with hands, its a fantastic puffer. Its closest to those days of working on the car with ciggy hanging out your mouth. ( long as you got a good bite on it anyhow :p)

Dude, thats wicked....EXACT same thing I did. SE kit...got stung there, then mega titan kit- done with cigs, then 808 for fun, and it is...then we get into mods, and it gets REAL cloudy...get it...CLOUDY ...I made a funny. :)

I still prefer the "cig-like" models the best, especially when I'm out, and an auto's great when working. My son bought me an Ego-T a few months ago... I gave up on the tank but I like the batteries. I've been looking at the new Echo, but I don't know how I'd like going back to fillered cartomizers; the batteries sound great though.

I still dig the boges regardless...Im working with some dual coils, but I like the boges, regardless of model. Maybe becuase I know what to expect, when to replace and all that..but still great carto. Still never tried a fillerless carto.
