Randy, you should take a look in the UK forum and see who they recommend and include a few of those suppliers.

Because so many members are from the UK it would be nice if they could find stuff local.
Good point, forgot about that.
:)

You might want to shoot a PM to Chrissie here on this forum.
She is hip to all things UK vaping.

Maybe do a set of UK suggestions and a set of US suggestions?

EDIT: Or you could just pull some stuff from here...

Update on the NSF board...

Boudee thinks your idea (Randyrtx) for a "short list" of known good suppliers is fantastic.
If you're willing to take suggestions, I'll be glad to start.
:)

Hardware
--Cignot
--Liberty Flights
--Healthcabin (non-US)
--madvapes

Juice vendors
--Tasty Vapor
--Madvapes (Dekang)

There are just my suggestions, feel free to ignore them if you wish.
This is, after all, your project.
:)

Not at all, consider it a community project... I'll kick it off then I hope others will contribute. :)

Stop flirting on my contest thread! Get a room you randy kids! -Magnus

My kids are flirting?

Is that why they call me RTX on the UK forum? (as opposed to "Randy" RTX)

Edit: ever make a post and come back later and wonder if what came out was really how you meant? Lost in translation from brain to keyboard? Dang it's hot today!

Google was running a live cam of the eclipse as it happened. I watched most of it, was cool but not as good as the real thing.

I missed the December 2010 eclipse due to poor weather. December 10, 2011 the lunar eclipse will be visible here, but not the entire eclipse.

I notice that there is talk of habitating an new forum - UK Quit Smoking and find ECF members actively posting there.

Any consideration of a larger expansion? There is How to give up smoking - India Discussion Forum and probably many more out there where smokers are struggling and facing the grim health effects of tabocco.

That's not a particularly active thread. 6 posts in the last 5 months...

Shocking quote for the day:

Nicotine Replacement Therapy is one of the strongly recommended methods to quit Smoking and Nicotine Addiction. The success rate of quitting smoking is 70%.

Maybe in the short term (if that)...

EDIT: By short term I mean the first few days...

Yeah, but India has 1,000,000 deaths per year due to tobacco use. If you search with "smoking" key word in the search field there are more threads. It seems they don't really know about e-cigarettes.

I assure you they know and those that can afford them have tried them. Some I know have stuck with them. The biggest issue there is that the cost difference is MASSSSSIVE at least in the two regions of India I was. The e-cigarette gear was cheaper than the US and UK but the analog costs were ridiculously low except by the shoppes closest to the major hotels. -Magnus

Yep, actually googled alibaba supplier web and 1000+ India based manufacturers. My mis-information *slaps self*.

There seems to real irony to the cost of cigarettes in China and possibly India, but China specifically where the Chinese are the world's heaviest smokers and their suppliers export much of the world's e-cigarette h/w and juice. But Chinese continue to smoke because it is cheaper.

And you just inadvertently also touched on one of the issues the FDA is freaking out about because their bosses (Congress) is freaking out about it.

Taxes.

They've taxed the sin out of Tobacco and need that revenue. By means of their taxes they've made e-cigs far more economical than they'd be otherwise. Which is causing former tax revenue sources (that we'd normally call CITIZENS) to stop paying into that pool. Their first instinct is to ban it all ban it all to hell! Then the instinct is try to control and tax it.

Which takes us into the thing that e-cigs and ......... have in common. I'm convinced that they would've legalized ......... by now if they could actually ensure they'd get the tax revenue. The problem is that the very culture of weed is decentralized and that's not going to change even if Marlboro puts out weed by the carton. So they have little confidence they'll recover that revenue source until they first make the pain of going-it-alone so great (three strikes laws for example) that they can slowly centralize and tax it.

Same w/ the boutique e-cig business and one of the reasons they harp about flavors. It's not all about the children. The fact you can get so much variety means homebrew and small business will continue to dominate the e-cig lanscape for quite sometime. So they're going to first make the pain of entry higher to filter as much of that out as possible. Before suddenly going, OK, it's alright now... safe. .... AND taxable.
