I'm being an "American"... but historically if I were actually saying something I believed I'd be talking about Quebec and the various French/British skirmishes during the prelude to and actual Revolutionary War.

And I always like to tell people in Vancouver they're wannabe French. They lose their minds when I bring up Montreal. ;-) -Magnus

That's like saying to someone in L.A. they are a wannabe New Yorker... It makes no sense.

If you wanted to be an "American" just call Canada the U.S.'s top hat and poke fun at them whenever they say "about"... Then when they say "sorry" make fun of them for that too. :)

I am on Indian land
I like rap music! (I think we're supposed to be calling it "hip hop" now though, as the young people don't like being called the same thing as the now-somewhat-past-25-and-therefore-Old-School Simmons brothers). I'm listening to Pitbull featuring T.Pain right now!

♫Hey baby girl whatcha doin' tonight?♫

with the little autotune machine! Do you know they say those things can make even tone deaf people achieve real notes? I just think they sound cute!

Pfft. Canadians are just the French Chuck Norris-es of the world. They're just waiting to pounce back and take revenge on the British by proxy for what they lost two hundred+ years ago.

They're not fooling me. The French never let go of a grudge. -Magnus

I wish The Native Americans (called Indians) would do that here. This land is their land from the Redwood Forrest to the New York islands. This land was stolen from then by white Europeans. I have always said I would share my home with a native American because they should be rightfully here in the first place. They are the true Sovereigns of this land. They are the Prince, Princesses, Kings and Queens of America. We should treat them as such. I feel shame for what was stolen from them. I do thank God my ancestors came from Arcadia and not Europe.

The Polynesian people of Hawaii are much in the same boat. Americans invaded Hawaii in 1900 and started the ball rolling to capture the Islands which they have done. Most native peoples to Hawaii were against Hawaii becoming a "State" but they did not get to vote. It was a corrupt American led Hawaiian legislature that forced that issue.

In fact, The United States has invaded more countries with hostile intent than any other country in history. There is a really neat book about this that lists them all and facts about each invasion but I forget the name at the moment.

I refuse to feel shame or guilt for something I did not do. I'll just leave it at that.

We'd certainly all like to think so, but as long as Canada has all these vast areas full of more snow than could possibly be made into balls and snow people, even if every single Canadian spent every minute of every day doing nothing else, ever, and year after year, it insists on keeping every scrap of that snow to itself, while at least a full third of its closest neighbor country is populated by children who have never even seen snow, not even once - well, there's going to be some resentment...

Uhhh can anyone say sno-mageddon...lol....I think they shared some last 2 years....maybe even too much..,.of course I will really be upset when Niagara Falls freezes over...well maybe not...But I'll bet another "bad data spouting group" will be...

I will state for the record I know about by research of more than one "special interest" using disinformation and bad science to change the world and make it better "for our children" ....just remember when something you are seeing with your own eyes flys in the face of your education and beliefs it may be time to reevaluate your belief system in favor of the truth...

the truth is out there to find but pride and prejudice and sometimes just plain LAZINESS keeps it from our view...

@ John Phoenix... That is actually another crime perpetrated against the younger generations of the US...the rewriting of history to make us look like heathens and conquereors.....Yes we do barge in where maybe we shouldn't but we are NOT the bad guy everyone says we are...(except maybe these last 10 years of stupidity) The US actually w the exception of the last 40-50 yrs has a history of not our problem unless it affects us in the pocketbook or our safety...

And I feel no shame...sorrow...guilt..or...grief...not my problem I didn't do it and I will not be made to pay for someone elses sins imagined or otherwise...

and yea too hot a subject for here... look below...
