The thread was just locked by a mod.

Shannon was very diplomatic in her response as to why she thought it was a troll post. I would not have been so kind. The fact that a certain someone "liked" the post screamed "I am a troll!"

Well I figured if I commented on greenlover liking it most of the forum wouldn't know WTH I was talking about without further explanation on my part... it was more laziness than diplomacy

I use cartomizers almost exclusively. Except for dripping to test flavors and/or juice attempts.

This month when I went to place my order for dual-coils from Pure Smoker I noticed they had an option for clear ones. I decided yesterday to try one out. So far I am really liking the clear ones. So easy to tell when it's getting dry. I can already tell, just by seeing how the filling absorbs, that I haven't been filling my cartos nearly enough. So I am getting much better performance.

This is probably old news for most of you.

I only ordered a few as I had never tried them. If this one continues to perform so well they will be the bulk of my order next month. Just wanted to pass this along.

Carry on :)

I have terrible luck with the clears so I use the clears that aren't clear :D.

I can barely move I'm so sore and welted up. I've got a darker olive complexion as it stands and now I look down-right eggplant colored on a good part of my body.

So I'm scheduled to do it again tomorrow so I can just move straight to the wheelchair. -Magnus
This is why women are smarter than men.

I don't know why the universe has kept me, for so much of my life, in one Warm Land or another.

My constitution is totally unsuited for any of them, and the years have not improved that situation.

Maybe it was a metabolism switcheroo prank, by some mischievous spirit who hides behind a cloud laughing at me - and a woman somewhere in frosty Greenland, who sits there shivering...

Eris! Welcome to discordia.

Alright... I need some help. My August member contest will be oriented toward developing new vendor-neutral advocacy banners, website badges, stickers, and QR codes. Directing people toward a yet-to-be-established thread/sticky or something within ECF with the hope of influencing switchers.

I've slowly been crawling both the original thread and this one for the best posts to consolidate, edit, lists of resources, etc.

What I need help with is the prize pool. For the Vermillion prize pool it ended up being ~$230 total. I'm thinking that's also the range here. The question is, should there be one winner and one big prize/package. Two/three winners with equal prizes? A graduated prizing scale across three people?

Thoughts appreciated. Prize suggestions appreciated too. -Magnus

Cool idea. If you need help funding the prizes, I would happily chip in a few shekels.

As for prizes... Juice is obviously popular. Since the contest is geared to current members a starter kit of some sort is probably not the best idea, but it's possible the winner might have someone in mind they could gift it to. I don't know how many vendors do gift cards, but that allows the winners to choose their own prizes.

I think starter kits are always a good idea. A lot of people either know someone they'd like to get started vaping or could use a spare. I have one battery till hubby takes a look at my other one *Yikes*. I have to order some next week. (eyecing the green one at LF).

Juice is also always a good idea.... starter kit with some juice great idea,

Fewer winners for more nicquid? Or a full-blown Vv custom mod like The GRIP, The MonkeyBoxx, The Cutlass, The Hog, etc.

I don't see many other good options. Or maybe one "Grand" prize custom mod and a few tanks? Hybrid attys?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get people to have incentive to spend their hard earned time off on nice graphics, media, etc. Hrmm. -Magnus

For the e-cig make sure its one either a man or a woman would be ok with. Some models can be distcinctly masculine or feminine (Am I being too demanding?)

Smaller prizes for more winners will probably net you more participation, but the quality of the entries would likely suffer. A really nice "Grand" prize might get some of the more serious graphic designers here to put some real thought into it.

I'm spouting off again. I don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

I can appreciate good design, but I can't seem to make it myself.

I'm pretty good at manipulating existing images to me a nice graphic but I can't design one.

I've got another night or two to think about this before I have to start making arrangements.

I guess the one wood box mod that doesn't have regular women users in-thread already is The GRIP. But there are a ton of custom MonkeyBoxx, a few Hogs, and a few Red Sky mods that are all smaller and customized for women. Or I can perhaps build up a Sassy Suzy or two myself.

Nate, this time I wouldn't mind fewer total entries if I thought I'd get better quality entries. Because the pre-arrangements include some requests from vendors to put the same badge on their sites. Since it will be vendor-neutral, the badges and the content it links to will have to be more compelling.

Hmmm, good question.

Here's an (interesting?) idea. As part of the contest you list two to three different options for prizes.

option 1) 1 large for the grand prize (expensive pv) and a few smaller for honorable mentions (some juice?)
option 2) 1 medium for the grand prize (pv kit), two smaller for honorable mentions (more juice?)
option 3) 3 prizes of equal size (kits?) with a special bonus thrown in for the grand prize (couple of CE2s, sapphires, some juice, whatever)

As part of the contest entry, you have the poster choose which prize structure they would choose if they win. It may keep things interesting, and we might all be surprised (or not) that most people would choose option 2 or 3, spread the wealth. Maybe more motivation to spend time doing the work if the winner gets to choose.

Am I being a dumb brunette again? :p

dumb brunette is an oxymoron ;).

Not sure how much trouble it would be doing it that way but if it isn't a great hassle I think its a good idea.

That's more than I can do. Oh... and anything to do with color manipulation?
