ETA: and this from someone who didn't qualify for your last contest OR this one :p

I'm going to merge three areas of concern I think and have something for everybody. I hope.

- One "Grand Prize" for design work that fits the web, banner, and sticker criteria, this'll likely be a Vv mod. Winner to be selected by me on solely my own criteria or those I choose to consult.

- Two "Community Prize" for slogans and one-liners than can be used in conjunction w/ the Grand Prize design. To be selected primarily on community "Like" votes. Likely two bottles of 15ml nicquid each.

- Four "Voter Prizes" to be selected at random from any person who "Like"d the Grand Prize or Community Prize entries. Likely one bottle of 15ml nicquid each.

And you can enter via all three mechanisms but can only win at one. ~Something~ like that once I hammer out the details. -Magnus

Looks like they come in 2.0 and 2.5 ohms....hmm..

I tried them Chief. I have one that tastes burnt after one day, and another that is leaking from somewhere. I'm not into taking things apart that should just work, especially not after one day of low use.

Has it been taken down yet?

Yeah it was a pic of a girl crying and something about "electric man says I can use google so I must be right leave me alone" not an exact wording but that's the gyst.

I wonder if electric man is brad. All I know is he wasn't there when I went on my board vacation.

phonedude, do you know if any clear ones come in the regular resistance flavor that is safe to use with the 5 elecrolyte hookah-doodles?

I keep reading about the "low resistance" ones and know not to get them, but it seems like every company and its ferret is coming out with a NEW! IMPROVED! cartomizer, and one of the new improvements almost always seems to be "low resistance."

I was careful to get the plain Original Recipe ones from litecigusa, but next time I'd like to try some of the new ones, that are clear, hold more juice, do a cute little dance, etc, but they seem to all be made for the same people who love the "2nd generation" KR808d-1 hookah-doodles because they have the reduced, milder "throat hit" sensation like the wireless ones.

I'm the opposite. If they were going to be in there fooling with stuff anyway, why not make a wireless one with 5 full electronuggets? ooOps. Rambling again...

Hello Lolady. I am not aware of any. Wish I was. The only cartomizers I have ever seen in clear are the dual-coils. Of course that doesn't mean they're not available. I seldom look at anything other than 501 type accessories. I will look and let you know if I come across any.

Enjoyed your post, as always.

:)

Miss lol there are clear ones that can be used on slim batteries but I think they'd be difficult on you to use. You have to fill them with a syringe. They also crack easily and therefore leak. Here's a link to some Nhaler offers anyway... they might be better now I don't know.

Thanks for being on top of that Shannon. I had no idea.

So far I'm still liking these clear dualies. Of course this is just day 2. And they just look neat. :)

I haven't decided yet. Some other people have commented that such a contest would be unfair because many people don't have design skills. I'm not sure I care about that, I'm trying to help w/ advocacy and I want it to be slick. If I didn't offer it up to ECFers, I'd be paying a designer anyway.

And Pamdane brought up the idea of people selling the mod for profit. Which I try not to care about..

However, the first, where people think it wouldn't be fun, seems to really bother a lot of people. I'm not sure if I should care. I just gave away a chunk of my change for fun the last contest. It's not like I'm gaining commercially from this one. I'm trying to help advocate e-cigarettes and ECF w/o even having a moderators interest in the joint.

Anyhow, still thinking.. -Magnus

Hardly unfair... It's your contest. I won't participate, but I'd like to help.

Ditto to all of the above.

That's a bunch of bull..... Nate wouldn't take his prize the last time due to a possible appearance of favoritism. Now Sallie won't even participate. *throws up arms*

I've got to be unfriendly to you people so you'll participate??!!

OK, Nate, you look like a woman. Sallie, you have a hair out of place. Fine, happy?!

*sigh* -Magnus

What a great idea! I couldn't find a vendor-neutral banner when I first joined.

Alright... I need some help. My August member contest will be oriented toward developing new vendor-neutral advocacy banners, website badges, stickers, and QR codes. Directing people toward a yet-to-be-established thread/sticky or something within ECF with the hope of influencing switchers.

I've slowly been crawling both the original thread and this one for the best posts to consolidate, edit, lists of resources, etc.

What I need help with is the prize pool. For the Vermillion prize pool it ended up being ~$230 total. I'm thinking that's also the range here. The question is, should there be one winner and one big prize/package. Two/three winners with equal prizes? A graduated prizing scale across three people?

Thoughts appreciated. Prize suggestions appreciated too. -Magnus

I'm confused. What do you run that has members? Or do you mean ECF members? Why do you run contests? So lost....lol!

Of course, I think it'd be great if more people were using the CASAA banners!! ;)
