So what you are saying lolady is that their belief is like a religious experience?

Because I know a few people who are like the people on that board except their flavour of choice is religion. Their god is an angry, vengeful god and they must adhere to very strict rules.

No matter how you talk to them - you are going to hell and they are not. Their fervour is a little frightening.
Yeah, I never understood those people trying to convince me about their salvation, or lack of my own. As a man of faith myself, I'm certain that its not me that needs convinced, so they need not waste their breath.
But groups like that seem to very powerful at instilling fear, and driving most away, and a select few get talked into selling their soul, and are trained to continue the fear mongering. Thank goodness these groups are small, and few and far between :p

WOW! There's a blast from the past! He never got the recognition he should have, I think because Bob Dylan got the big break back in the 60s and today it's Ricardo Arjona...

I just knew that you'd be aware of him. I don't know how I knew, but I did!
Cold Fact is one of my all-time favourite albums.
My wife also owns the incredibly rare sheet music!

Cheers

That is not god...it is fanaticism...and almost cult-like...and we all know where that goes...and I hope not to offend anyone but god likely wants intelligent curious questioning individuals or we would not be designed with the ability to choose...we would practically be robots...

I am on Indian land
Thanks to all the people who were kind enough to extend greetings and salutations to me.

I didn't mean to be impolite, I became enthused about the subject and just plain forgot to return them and extend my own, and then became distracted by a shiny thing (Mr lolady arrived, bearing taquitos).

Also, for the past couple of weeks, I've actually had "like things" as an item on my to-do list, because I have become so behind on liking things that I feel impoliteness clinging to my skin like the distasteful molecules of humidity that infest this current episode of Global Steaming, with its wretched heat that has even intelligent people with all kinds of things to say talking about the weather on the very internet.

I planned to devote at least one entire day to suppressing my urge to hold forth, commit blogrants or emit bon mots, and do nothing but like things.

But time and time again, I have been thwarted.

I'm not sure what I have done to displease it, but the like button does not seem to like me very much. It hides from me, and only occasionally pokes the tip of its nose out, and lets me like maybe one thing, and then hides again.

I like things that all of you say very much, so in simultaneous appeasement and defiance of the like button, I have made my own unnecessarily cheesy like button. Thank you all for putting up with me.

Morning all!

Kat, to answer your earlier question, I've had no luck yet on the job front. One company went with another candidate, and the other... not sure if they've just not made a decision yet or are just ignoring me, but haven't heard anything since my interview. :(

It means a lot that you all are thinking about me!

Sorry Randy, it's got to be disappointing and frustrating especially when you know that you're the right person for the job and would do it so well.

You'll find something, I'm sure of it.

When you least expect it a great job is going to land in your lap without you even trying - I feel it in my bones.

Good things happen to good people.

And you're good people Randy!

Question...do any of you vape lower nic/zero nic liquids in the evening to help with sleeping? My bf suggested I do this, as I am an insomniac anyway, and he thinks it may help some. I just ordered several zero nic liquids to vape before bed. Anyone know how long before I go to bed that I should change from my usual 18 mg to zero?

The best bedtime vape I've found so far is Sleepy Time Green Tea Lung Juice: 6ML Lung Juice Samplers - Assorted Strength

The Sleepy Time Green Tea flavor I believe has chamomile and melatonin along with other herbs that make a very relaxing vape. I just recommend that you dedicate a carto or atty to this juice--several times I've tried to vape from the same atty the following day and found myself getting kinda sleepy...
