I'm liking the changes. The wording is still cautious, but with a more positive spin. At least that's my take.

Much better! As DC pointed out, not having the strong language "are not used to quit smoking" should make a big difference in what people will take from it!
In retrospect that does have a certain fava beans a nice chianti ring to it...
I will settle for soft in all the right places organic then. ;-)

Now that I have seen the main page (couldn't view because I was cache-dumb when you posted the initial concern), your suggestion is still valid, while at the same time not really changing the overall tone of the exposition.
It's subtle, most newbs wouldn't even pick up on it, yet it is "more" correct, even with the other concerns you had still existing in the text as it stands now...
ETA: looks like I took the slow train and everybody (including the main page) passed me by already..... <sigh>

Geez, I'm not very good at multi-tasking on a Friday afternoon. Read thru the updated main page. They even kept the 'no-brainer' comment, which made me chuckle.
I'm with Sallie, still cautious but much improved in wording.
Good thing too, I made the mistake of checking Q earlier today (it reopened when I restarted my browser), the E-man took that "conspicuous statement" and ran like hellfire with it.... <sigh>

I got fooled by the old Missed-A-New-Thread-Page trick.
