These studies are a catch-22. If they show that nicotine is delivered at a significant rate, the FDA gets to wave it over their heads and say, "See, we told you. It is the same as a prescription inhaler, a drug delivery system, and we need to regulate it." If the studies come out like this one, no significant delivery, they get to wave it and say, "See, these devices are being sold fraudulently and we need to regulate them!":rolleyes:

interesting thought.

You know what is really sad about this whole thing? The tobacco/smoking arena is so filled with crooked science, crooked politicians, crooked CEOs, etc. I don't trust a thing I read anymore. Everyone is coming at these studies with a preconceived notion. The FDA is going to find something wrong with E-cigs even if they have to make it up. And any entity that supposedly does "pure" science and also receives governement grants is also tainted. There is a status quo that must be maintained at any cost....keep people smoking, paying huge taxes and serving the purpose of the "bad guy" for political purposes.

Honestly...I have a hard time believing anything I read on smoking anymore. Nobody is telling the truth...
