Uh oh, that pic caught my eye to. I would love a link to the web site that has those and also to see if it comes 510.

I use a Joye510 but have been thinking of getting a mod so I don't buy so many batts. LOL!

My wife and I average about $77 a month in spending. Way cheaper than analogs.
It's a BB and can be purchased through Altsmoke AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer The BB

If you have spare parts and lots of nic juice stored up, you're really more ahead of the game than you think. Did anyone have cartons of analog cigarettes stashed away in a drawer or closet that would carry them over for weeks or months? If you didn't buy a carton of cigs every week could you have gone for weeks without buying any more?
I would bet just about everyone in here could sustain their vaping habit for quite a while without buying more every week. We couldn't have done that with those smelling analogs.

So far - here is what I have invested in my quest to get off analogs:

50.00 - nobox kit, and some juice samples

16.00 - bottle of Tennesee Cured

42.00 - usb passthrough and mega battery

Soo.... 108 bucks and the only things I plan on buying in the next couple of weeks are:

spare attys
spare batts
a LOT of juice...

I've spent well over a thousand since July when I started. Four different models before finally settling on the Evo and 510. I'm stocked up well enough now, that I can afford to wait for the extraordinary sales (25% or more) that my favorite suppliers run from time to time.

I've got the mixing kits, flavorings, tools and storage containers, extra 3ml and 6ml empty bottles and probably 500ml of different juices. Lots of attys and batts and fluval to last me for quite some time.

Okay, so after getting some sleep and thinking about this, it's not as bad as I thought. About $500 of that is on stuff for my family to convert them over to vaping. Factor in I've also purchased over 500ml worth of juice and that brings the costs more into line. I was pretty tired last night and wasn't thinking of what I have bought for everyone else. *Whew* No E-Cigs anonymous for me after all. But I think it's still time to slow down lol.
I kept a spreadsheet of my expenses starting from Day 1 and compare it to my analog habit.
Er. We're talking $450ish in the first month and probably another $100+ left to spend on holiday sales. 8-o

First point: You can't put a price on health. You only get one body. These are total clichés because they are painfully true.

Second point: You can't consider that all a "month's expenses".
In accounting-speak, those expenses are amortized over time, i.e. you don't get their whole value up-front. You have to spread out the costs according to the time you actually use up the items you bought.
After all, juice and parts will last you a while! And some of these items are one-time things like chargers, PCCs, and storage cases.

Last point: I genuinely like the people who sell me e-cigarettes and juice. My favorite vendors are hard-working small business owners who know their stuff. Whereas I don't feel anything towards RJ Reynolds or Philip Morris, except a weird self-hating distrust. So it's worth asking, who would you rather support? :)

Holy Crap, I just added up what I've spent on E-cigs, and I think it's gonna take me a while to start seeing any savings over analogs. In the past 23 days I have spent $1,215.38. I guess that means that at this point, E-cigs are *only* costing me $52.84 a day to use LOL.

Is there an E-cigs anonymous program out there yet?????

yup im up to around 300 in just a week... i believe the world has corrupted us again, my friend. this vaping stuff should merely be another addiction to ween off of, now that cigarettes are out of the way. stock up for 2 months, then quit or resell it. this is a device to ween off of as well, it is the nicotine we rely on which is bad and unclean as well, just as caffeine is but we all mostly fall victim to that as well...

good luck guys.

quitting cigs is easy with e-cigs.

but now lets try quitting e-cigs soon.

i hope i puff on just air someday!

JEESH! I wish I had that much extra cash!

I'd probably spend it all on e-cigs too!

SOOO many models, SOOO many vendors, SOOOO many juice flavors!

BUT, since I'm low on cash I've spent $193 dollars. I have one Joye 510 kit with 2 full e-cigs, 5 filled carts, 5 blank carts, PLUS I purchased a PCC 3 extra atomizers, 3 extra batteries, and a total of 100ml of various juice flavors (took me a few tries to find ones I liked). This has been ordered since 11/11/09 and I shouldn't need to order anything else for a couple of weeks. Since I would have spent $120 on cigaretted (but DIDN'T!) I'm only $73 in the hole. I expect to break even in two weeks!

What I haven't spent, is the gas to go get cigarettes, the side-trips to the stores next to the cigarette stores or on the way to the cigarette store, and the fast-food also usually purchased on the cigarette run. So the total for e-cigs may be high, but when I consider the money I've saved by keeping myself and my wallet out of shopping centers, it's probably been cheaper in the long run. When I hit day 120, I knew I could make it another 120 days without a cigarette. And that, is priceless.

I ran the numbers for me too. Since August 20th, I spent $368.06, including shipping charges. I have 2 different types e-cigs with extra batteries and atomizers for each. I have 2 usb pass-throughs (1 broke but I was able to repair it) and a dse905 mod on the way. I also have about 200 millileters of juice here.
I've been vaping for 13 weeks now. If I had still been smoking analogs that would have been $681.35. That is a significant difference. I am also at the point now where I only need to buy juice and the occasional replacement of a bad part. To date I have only had 1 atomizer go bad and it was my fault, (I burned it out when I vaped it dry on my first pass-through) no battery issues and 1 pass-through that the tiny wires broke.
