Just flipping thru TV channels - Oprah Winfrey was having a program on quitting smoking accompanied by a Dr. Oz

Let's see: (1) The liquid is poison; (2) the devices are smuggled into the country under falsified invoices; (3) the nicotine comes from Cuban tobacco and Americans are barred from buying anything from Cuba; (4) there are no taxes to be collected; (5) there is no safety assurance about what we're inhaling into our lungs -- no regulation at all, in fact; (6) and big losers here are Big Tobacco, Big Pharmaceutical and Big Brother.
Now what chance do you give e-smoking once the authorities focus on it? An article today on quitting nicotine by Jane Brody of the NYTimes didn't even once mention e-smoking. Oprah today on quitting didn't once mention e-smoking. NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS. So far this sneak attack from China has gone under the radar. Once it's spotted by a health nut fringe group, a senator will be alerted who will then involve the federal government in the U.S.
My guess at the verdict: This is a drug delivery device that is illegal because it has not been proven safe and effective in rigorous clinical testing required of all NRT products. It will be called many other things before it's banned. (Note that Big Tobacco is betting on snus to provide some profits while cigarette sales decline; Big Pharamaceutical is betting on $14 billion a year from patches, gums and crap as smokers try to quit; and Big Brother badly needs ever-more tobacco tax money).
E-smoking has no friends in high places.
Well, if you get problems, just tell them the sender speaks german. Then, Gift is exactly what is in the package.sanneke said:I just ordered cartridge from China, and the seller wrote me that the info on the package is "gift".
