Easy to leave a comment, here's mine:

Ingredients in a cigarette? About 4000, including many known carcinogens. Ingredients in an electronic cigarette? About 4: Propylene Glycol, vegetable glycerine, liquid nicotine (if desired by the user) and flavoring. I went from 30 cigarettes a day down to 2 and have stayed at this level for almost 3 years. My government doesn't want me to use this life saving product because it cuts into their bottom line. The FDA gets a majority of its funding from pharmaceutical companies and cigarette taxes fill the governments coffers. Don't listen to the propaganda people! Your government and its agencies don't have your best interest at heart. This product isn't hurting me and it won't hurt anyone standing next to me. Studies have been done that prove this, you just aren't getting the whole story unless you research it yourself. Go to www.e-cigarette-forum and educate yourself!

I just did a google search for:
e-cigarette studies
e-cigarette bad for you
e-cigarette health risks
e-cigarette organizations

Then, I started clicking on some of the related search terms google provides. Nowhere did I see the CASAA website listed.
Assuming the average reporter is hardly "investigative" anymore, I could see how they would not delve deeply enough so as to find an organization to provide an opposing viewpoint.

On the other hand, if they had even the most remote desire to gather info they would have visited CASAA and interviewed someone from the organization, even if only so as to provide an opposing viewpoint. While it may not be exceptionally easy for an outsider to find the CASAA website, I am certain they have tracked down far more elusive people/organizations in the past.

Well I firmly believe that news research anymore is being told what to say and what to read, I haven't see any original research in the media in quite a few years.

Watch the evening news for an hour and count the number of health commercials, particularly drug ads. The industry provides massive funding to the media industry.
