Hello, I joined this forum a few years ago, just got back to vaping. I have the original Blu kit and was wondering if there is a better model. I like the idea of the PCC but the blu battery life and non existent throat hit don't do it for me. I've seen the volcano kit but haven't read much about it.

I don't know if this is the right forum section to post this, mods feel free to move this to the correct place. Thanks for any comments and advice.

For a cigarette sized device go with a 510 starter kit. However, the problem with all cigarette style e-cigs is that the vape & throat hit is just not there. When I started vaping I was really into them until I came here & did a lot of research. I quickly got rid of the cigarette style devices and started buying mods & haven't looked back since. The difference is night & day. Hop on youtube & you'll see a bunch of reviews of countless big battery mods that produce clouds & throat hits which is simple impossible to achieve with the cig-styles. That said, the 510 is pretty universal. I do recall seeing a cig-style high voltage device some time back and if you are set on that small sized battery it may be worth looking into, just bear in mind that small batteries have very short lives before requiring a charge which is another advantage of larger mods.

I think your best bet at this point is to get an ego with low resistance 510 atomizers or cartomizers. It would be a bit bigger that a traditional cig but smaller than any big batt mod. With the low res atty/carto you will experience the clouds & throat hit you want. They make variable volt ego's called the ego twist which is my #1 best recommendation for you. :)
