e-drinking?

Not at all sure if this is the place to raise this question but, here goes!

A few years ago, none of us would have thought it possible that we could get our nictine fix through e-cigs. The technology now exists for us to be able to do precisely that apparently without the risk of lung cancer.

The other main addiction of Western society is alcohol. It seems that there is currently reseach going on to produce what the Trekkies amongst us would call "synthahol", but has anyone given thought to a way of imbibing alcohol without liver damage? Obviously alcohol is destroyed during vaping but any ideas?

There is already a way. And it's vaporised too.

"A new way of consuming alcohol that offers an immediate hit with no hangover the next day has been introduced in the United Kingdom. The new method is known as AWOL, an acronym for 'Alcohol With Out Liquid', and could become a hit in the global club scene due to the euphoric 'high' created when alcohol is vaporised, mixed with oxygen and inhaled."

That's just what I copied... sounds like trouble

I wouldn't trust myself to get immediately drunk, and high and not feel it the next day. It would be....
bad... very bad

Hmmm..... interesting, but I'd be very doubtful of anything associated with the "club scene". And how would you mix it with oxygen?

Thanks for that JaYBoNeS.

It doesn't seem that the alcohol is being vaped as we know it, otherwise it would evaporate before being absorbed. Sounds more like a hookah that picks up a little of the flavour of the spirit added to it.

Alcohol is capable of evaporating into the gas that's bubbling through, and being absorbed in the lungs as a gas, i'd imagine.
