I've got all kinds of mods and have tried all kinds of atomizers. When I got out of vaping last year the eGo was just starting to get popular. Now that I'm back I've thought about getting an ego because of all the good reviews. But I have a couple of questions.

First off should I wait for the eGo-C to come down in price (they are talking about next month or so)?

Is the atomizer thread proprietary on the battery or can you use a standard 510 with it with out any converters?

Is the genuine Joye eGo atomizer as good/better/same as a regular 510? I'm talking standard resistance.

Can I use an eGo atomizer on my 510 mods?

I really kinda like the idea of the newer C atomizers and I really like my SMK tank atomizers (with tank carts). I really don't like cartomizers. I've tried three different types and all three just didn't do it for me.

I know everyone has their own ideas so so flaming people. Look at who I'm talking to. We're Canadian's (mostly) around here. Just want your own opinions good, bad or otherwise.

Thanks.

I wouldn't wait. If you want it get it. If you want to hold of, no big deal, run whatever atomizer and consider it in a few weeks for you replacement. The ego-c has proven to be durable, and the atomizer replacements are very cheap as you only replace a part of the atomizer not the whole thing.

>Is the atomizer thread proprietary on the battery or can you use a standard 510 with it with out any converters?

"510" thread refers to any Joye like 510 device. A Boge cartomizer for example has a 510 thread, so it can be used on eGO batteries.

>Is the genuine Joye eGo atomizer as good/better/same as a regular 510? I'm talking standard resistance.

There are so many non-joye atomizers out there its impossible to comment on. Check the reviews to see what people are recommending.

>Can I use an eGo atomizer on my 510 mods?

Depends on the shape of a mod.. The eGo atomizer has a 510 thread so the tread will screw on, but depending on the mod, the cone may or may not clear.

Rob

Well I have a few Ego set ups ie: 650mah w/SR 510 atomizer, and 1100mah EgoT both LR and SR atomizers, and I also have type B SR atomizers.

The SR 510 atties that came with my 650mah kit I actually didn't care much for at all, and only used it to test flavors ... I found that the atties that came with my 510 Mega were much better performers, not to mention that they lasted longer (4 mo vs 2mo on the Ego) ... could have been a bad batch as one of the Ego atties was doa, and this was a genuine Joye kit ... The Mega was a knockoff

The SR Type A atty that I have is pretty useless IMO, and it is also genuine Joye and I never use it because the draw is much too tight and produces an inadequate amount of vapor .... My LR Type A Tank atty is my favorite of the bunch, performs well, no leakage at all, and good vapor production, but was expecting a bit more vapor from a LR. The SR Type A Tank atty also works well with no leakage, and produces a little less vapor than it's LR counterpart.

My Type B SR atties (genuine Joye) are ok at best .... not very impressed with it as my old 510 atty produced way more vapor, as well as better flavor.... but I like the way it looks :p

Overall and just from my own experience I don't feel that Ego's are all that ... beyond a longer batter life I don't know what all the hype is about really .... when I started vaping the Ego was all the rage and hyped up to be this super vapor PV which I have not found to be the case at all .... my KR8's beat out the Ego by way of flavor and vapor production hands down ...

Haven't tried the Ego C so I can't speak to that one however, the only + an Ego gets from me is battery life... and the 1100mah stainless steel is very sharp looking :)

there are NO genuine ego-t 1100mah batteries.
see here: Joyetech eGo-T, Tank System starter kits
those that advertise 1100mah are likely selling rip-offs.
that site clearly lists rip-off sites as well.
you will also find a list of genuine distributers of joyetech products, listed under 'buisness partners'. i buy from Best electronic cigarettes_ecigarettes_eliquids_ejuices - Heaven Gifts, 23.50 bucks for a 1000mah pasthru.
i would also suggest puting a volt meter on that battery, it probably tops out at 900mah.
just my opinion......don't take it as anything but.

check out the elips video, that thing looks sweet.
OVALE LLC - ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE (e-cigarette) :: ego-C, changeable system, ego-T, elips, liquid, juice, accessories
i think that video posted by therealcmac is a different product. (eagle?, its ovale)(rip off)
wow, the ignore button really works.

this old guy has the real one, the negative review below is a fake, hence, it dont work, lol.
you see the difference in the tank and the seat for the tank on the atomizer?

here is a canadian review of another fake one, i dont know, i think they are appealing.
this review is negative, because its a rip-off, just used it to demonstrate the difference between the boxes and the product. you get what you pay for.

i would rather be trying to entice people with this than some contraption that looks like a bomb, socially unexceptable.
to each their own, bye.

Yes i did note that it was a clone, i dont see why you have to be so rude about it, I was just offering a different "opinion" just as you were, I know you wont see this since you are ignoring me but have to get this one off my chest. Grow up.

Ego & non-eGo batteries. I have noticed a difference between the Joyetech 1000mah & a non-joy 1100mah(lcd). The lcd actually holds true to itself with over 1000 hits per charge under normal load conditions but is reduced to 250 hits(approx) when used with an eGo booster. Now, the genuine Joyetechs also are reduced in battery life under added load but in my tests were reduced by 40 to 50%. So there is a noticeable difference between the 2 but only under certain circumstances. This why when purchasing an ego booster, the site only recommends using genuine Joyetech batteries. Would I continue to purchase any more non-Joyetech batteries? No - for a few bucks more, I'd stick to the original. I guess it's like buying a Duracell vs an Eveready - both work fine when new at 1.5v but which will last the longer? We all know.
