I quit vaping a few years ago and went back to analogs (not really sure why). I'm thinking of trying e cigs again and, since things have almost certainly changed during my absence, I have some questions. Are the nicotine extracts still only produced in China? Are the flavored e juices made in this country (USA)? Are any e cigarettes made here? Where can I find detailed descriptions and use procedures for mid size and AVP ecigs along with photos or videos?

Thanks,

Kim

Welcome back, I am unsure about where the is nic being made. eliquid is made by lots of places in the USA, and lots of b&m have their own line. There is a lot of mech, rda, and mods made in the USA. Some of the circuitry is possibly made outside.

Check out you tube or the forums for great reviews. Some of my favorite are pbusardo, Grimm green, and riptripper on you tube.

Most of the high-concentration nic liquid (for blending into juice) is made in China, but not all. Tons of e-liquid, and a fair amount of gear are made in the US.

And if it's a concern, the quality of the liquids from China is very good these days. The key players over there have invested heavily in their process lines.

I also started vaping several years ago, and then went back to ciggs. The equipment back then was very fragile, and didn't work well or taste very good. Got back into the game last October, and it's a whole different story!

It is a completely different ballgame nowadays. I too used one several years ago, and while it was OK, it only ever worked as a supplement while I couldn't smoke (like while working in the restaurant). Tried again with a new setup several months ago, and I've been analog-free for 6 months (after 15 years). Never would have thought it'd happen, but I love it.

There's a ton of places to get info, I frequent the /r/ecr subreddit a lot, and their guide for newbies is great, and not so overwhelming as ECF can be.

Nicotine? Almost all of it is sourced from China.

USA made liquids? A better term would be "USA put together." With but a few exceptions not even the flavorings going in them are USA made.

USA manufactured PV's? The big players are ProVape (Provari) and Reos Mods.

Welcome back! A lot has changed since you left - for the better.

I just started vaping in Jan 2014. I went with Halo (USA made) because of many good reviews on quality and price for starter kits. Got the G6 cig-alike to begin, and to try their flavors, which also get good reviews. Just ordered their Triton starter kit.

Their e-liquids are not the cheapest, but they have a points reward system for orders, reviews and referrals. They have a tobacco flavor, Torque56, that tastes a lot like a regular cig, with a hint of sweet. Great company and worth checking out.

I loved smoking (cigars and premium cigs) and never thought anything could replace it. Vaping has!
