e liquid good flavour but harsh?

When I am vaping I get good flavour but harsh taste.. its not burnt coil or the battery? What could it be I vape 18 mg nic and 70/30 pg/vg liquid?

Drop your nic down some. That can help a lot.

You might try adding a couple drops per 10ml of DISTILLED water, that has eased some of the harshness in my DIY juices.

18mg 70/30.

That's a very popular strength and ratio (well, in the UK, anyway).

How many different brands have you tried? Some liquids are harsher than others. I just filled up an atomizer with 11mg Hangsen and it's as harsh as anything. (that was the plan). I also have some others that are barely hitting, even on a high power device.

PG is harsher than VG. Mystic Juice - Royal Vapor (60% VG) is very smooth, almost too smooth really.

higher PG = more throat hit and can be harsher and as djs said some flavors just amp up the harsh as well. I'd either lower my PG % or it may be the flavor (cinnamons are really bad harsh for me for example)

I have a few bottles of juice that I absolutely can not vape on unless they are mixed with some of my less flavorful liquids. They don't taste bad but are way too strong in flavor. It's like pouring perfume into my mouth. Disgusting. I have even tried steeping them for 3 or 4 days in hopes it would make the flavor not as strong, with no luck.

Change the ratio of PG/VG say 50/50 or 40/60. PG will impart a bit a thump to the throat, 18 Mg. Nic will increase the throat hit.

Steeping or aging can take up to a few weeks....

OP, shake the crap out of it to be sure its mixed well, or, try a lower pg ratio.

Pick up a bottle of 0% unflavored juice in the pg/vg ratio you want. Or, pick up a couple of small bottles of pg and vg and mix it yourself. Add to your juice. That should make it 'weaker'. It may even get you into diy and save mondo dollars on juice.

edit: it could double your juice volume if you like it 50/50 juice/unflavored.

A little EM might mellow that out, maybe .5% or so.
