Hey guys I am sure there are a ton of threads just like this but I want to order some more eliquid and the last two orders I place for eliquid left me with an abundance of eliquid that I really don't like.

I started using an e-cigarette a few weeks ago and at first had pretty good success staying of analogs. However I am really struggling to find a good e-liquid, and its getting to the point that I have been smoking again because I don't like any of the liquids I have left.

I ordered by ego twist and other supplies initially from MyVaporStore.com and included a 10ML bottle of their Smooth Tobacco and a 10ML bottle of their Menthol Sensation I found the menthol to be way too minty, but really liked the Smooth Tobacco However I was concerned that it was not a US eliquid and they don't list any details on the site about the ingredients for that e-liquid. Should I be concerned about this? I was going to order a 30ML bottle, because its the only liquid I have tried that I find can keep me off the analogs.

Because I was concerned about the origin and ingredients of the MVS liquid I ordered two menthol liquids from Mt Baker Vapor - both of which were too minty for me.. A friend then recommended that I try to find a good tobacco liquid and just add a drop or two of menthol to it (which is what I did with the MVS liquids and it was pretty good). So I ordered the Halo Cigs tobacco sampler pack and found they were all pretty terrible. I am not sure if it just me but all their liquids had a very sweet after taste that tasted like cotton candy to me and they were all a bit perfumy .. So now I am very discouraged..

Sorry for the rambling - and to make a long story short: I am looking for a good mild tobacco flavored liquid that is not sweet or complex (just plain jane to start). I have read about BackwoodsBrew, and almost put an order in until I saw a pbushardo review of one of their liquids in which he described the same aftertaste that I hated about the Halo liquids (cotton candy).

Any suggestions for a newbie? Maybe a liquid that you started with that I may like.

Have a look at the tobacco flavors at Heather's Heavenly Vapes. I am a tobacco vaper too, and have had very good results with HHV. They are "NET" (naturally extracted tobaccos) and I find them excellent. You can read the descriptions to see which one might come close for you. Their prices are good too. JD

Eliquid is probably the hardest variable in vaping to get right. It just takes trial and error with multiple suppliers to find juices you like. If you can get samplers that give several small bottles to try. It will save money in the long run. There is a section on ejuice here where lots post there comments. Perhaps you can find something here. General E-Liquid Discussion

Totally agree that HHV's tobacco liquids are really good! They don't taste a lot like cigs, in my opinion. It seems that their tobaccos tend to be more like pipe tobaccos. Though I have read (and agree) that even people who never smoked pipes enjoy their tobaccos.

When I first visited their website found it a bit hard to locate their tobacco liquids based on how the site is set up, but some of the popular tobacco liquids are:
Legend (a NET)
Dragon's Fire (NET)
Huntsman (NET)
Heavenly Tobacco (non-NET)

Good luck! Hope you find something that satisfies.

I did too, but if you use their site search box and just type in "tobacco" in the keywords field, it will pull up all of their tobacco flavors. And thanks for the "like" :) JD

Thanks, that is a great tip. I have only tried a few of their tobaccos. I will use that search next time I'm ready to get a sampler. So far my favorite is Legend. :)

i currently get mine from 3 local shops (each one makes a certain flavor i like) i started with a root beer float and a honey dew melon. both were good now i use various PV 18mg bases (vanilla icecream, mountain dew, ect.) and mix in PG 24mg flavors (berry, coffee, melon, ect.) its a matter of finding what works for you.

For tobacco flavors, and other flavor types to try, give Mountain Oak Vapor or Goodejuice a try.

Best thing to do is order sample bottles, until you find flavors you like and then invest in larger quantities. Taste is subjective, and one man's gold is another man's dirt.

@ Goodejuice, gie their House Brewed line a try. Naturally Extracted Tobacco flavors. Vita Bella, Organic #1, Wrangler Light, Patriot are ones I can recommend.

And Heather's Heavenly Vapes NETs are fantastic. And they have been mentioned. Give Heavenly Army, Legend, Huntsman a try. ;)

It's not uncommon for tobaccos to need time to steep and mix their flavors. There's still maybe hope for the juices you have already.

1st.....open the tops, pop out any dripper tips, and leave open for 24 hours. This will allow any alcohol or perfumey odor to evaporate.
2nd....shake em up good.
3rd...give them a hot water bath for a couple hours. Heat up some water, pretty hot, set the bottles in them and let the water come to room temp. Shake em up again and repeat the hot water bath.

I find this to be pretty effective for tobaccos especially. For my water bath I use a mini crock pot and let them "cook" for a couple hours, then cool down in the water. Completely changes the complexion of the juice. Might even salvage that MBV juice.....maybe. :D

I agree partially with Rodeorat. I have tried multiple online vapor shops for my liquid, including many of the most recommended (i.e. Tasty Vapor, Backwoods Brew, Ms Ts Bakery, Vapor Bomb, etc) and every single order I got from any of the listed websites tasted HORRIBLE upon arrival. It wasn't until recently I learned about steeping, but there are many different opinions on how to properly steep your juice. Personally I find this to be an unnecessary pain in the @$$ and just buy juice from my local vapor shops. The stuff I get from local shops are always ready to vape as soon as you buy it, and the flavors are absolutely GREAT compared to even steeped online crap. I've given up on online e-liquid vendors after having an endless string of bad experiences. Besides, who really wants to wait around for days or weeks for your e-liquid to arrive only to have to spend another week or more letting it steep? Obviously some people have patience for that, but I sure as hell don't.

My suggestion is to look up steeping e-liquid online, read over some of the various methods (because there are a LOT of conflicting ideas on the subject). If you get sick of waiting around for it to steep, I'd definitely check your local area for any vapor shops that sell e-liquid. There are 4 different shops around where I live within 1-5 miles and all of them let you test flavors before buying and I am always satisfied by the quality and taste. Also, as soon as I get home I can vape what I just bought instead of spending days or weeks waiting for it to hopefully taste better down the road.

Ain't that the truth? The OP dislikes Halo but I love it. It's the first quality juice I've encountered on my journey and I might have been content to stick with it if not for the price.

I'm definitely gonna get a sample pack of HHV tobacco flavors.
