New to site and trying to quit smoking but need advice. I have bought a 510 and another called an Envy that is much bigger.I am a pack a day smoker and smoke menthol cigs. They are light and alot of menthol but not harsh at all. No throat hit. If cirarette is stale it tastes harsh to me. I am having a lot of trouble findig a juice that is menthol and not harsh tasting. I have ordered the sampler pk from Blue Mist and tried all of them(menthol) and actually went into a store to try some. The one ai tried seemed pretty good but it was 12mg nicotine and the salesman insisted i buy 18mg saying 12 mg would never satisfy me after smoking over a pack a day. So far, Iam having no luck finding anything. Either no menthol or way too harsh. Any advice? Is it pg that is harsh or is it the nicotine is too strong?I like lots of vapor no throat hit and strong menthol. what do I try next?

Agreed. Get a sampler pack in a variety of juices and PG/VG blends. ECblends is great for this. $2.50 for 5 mil bottles, in whatever ratios and strengths you prefer. I'm a menthol person too and can't seem to get away from it even if I wanted to.

PG is thin and dry. VG is thick, sweet and moist. Nicotine provides most of the throat hit.

Good luck!

I'm new myself and also realized I'm not big on throat hit. I bought liquid samples at different nicotine levels and felt the most comfortable at 12mg. If you liked that when you tried it out you at least need to give it a shot to see if it can sustain your nicotine addition. As for strong menthol, I wasn't a menthol smoker, but I bought a cinnamon menthol liquid and that gave me a pretty good menthol hit with the added spice. Don't be discouraged trying to find the right liquid as there are 1000's out there. I smoked Marlboro lights for half my life and my first attempt at e-cigs I thought it would be best to mimic the taste. I never found and it and it too me too long to realize I was much more satisfied with non tobacco flavors. For me it was a butter finger and atomic fireball flavor that made me quit analogs. Maybe have a try at venturing away from trying to mimic your cigarette tastes and try some totally different flavors, fruits, desserts, etc. Good luck.
