E-liquid leak on center pin - dangerous?

Still kinda new guy here, excuse me if this is the wrong forum for this kind of question. Lately my vape pen has some liquid leaking onto the center pin, like, a lot of liquid. It often fully fills up around there. And with me not knowing how batteries work at the ripe old age of 22, is there any danger to it and anything I could do to fix it anyway? I'm not getting any liquid where there shouldn't be anywhere else, the center of the tank is dry.

It does mess up and become harder to vape until I put some tissue around the center pin and dry it off. Maybe I should only fill it half-way?

Generally it won't hurt anything, unless you are using an automatic battery, then it can ruin the battery. If you post what you are using maybe someone can give you more specifics about how to fix the problem.

Are you using a topper with replaceable coil head? Maybe it's not screwed in properly, not sealed correctly.

I'm vaping a Liqua-Q non-automatic vape pen and it has replaceable coil head. I screw it in tight. Any other brands I should try that won't have this problem? They have an e-grip in the store. I've been using this for a month, how long do people usually use starter kits?

Get that liquid clean up right away, it never lead to anything good and I personally know people whos mods got fried from that happening. Figure out where your tank is leaking from and fix it.

I think it's from me screwing too tight. I've stopped screwing it so tight and it doesn't happen as much, but I did find a few drops on it. It's cheap as hell too, I think I'll get an e-grip instead

A few drops is normal and to be expected from time to time. Just clean things up with a q-tip or paper towel when you refill.
