It depends on what you mean by "buzz."
THere's a relaxation, a positive "oh yeah" feeling that goes with a cigarette hitting your system. Relaxed, yet alert. I love it. Working late, energy flowing, creative, energy flowing, nicotine keeping me sharp. Absolutely LOVE it. And yeah- get that from the ecig.
But some people, when they say "buzz," mean that dizzy feeling, the headiness that's almost wooziness that comes from the first one in the morning, or the first one after a period of abstinence. THAT is primarily carbon monoxide. (You can get it without the nicotine.) It is greatly increased by going way up in altitude. (Which supports the hypothesis that it's about oxygen, and lack thereof.) But I've also heard that nicotine affects the inner ear, so no doubt it's a combination of factors.
THAT buzz, for me, is not available from ecigs. I've vaped for a while (closing in on a year), and it just doesn't happen. Not that it's necessary. And my nic isn't "too low." I've tried a lot of different strengths- more nic will make me nauseaus, and and headachy. But it won't replicate that buzz.
It's funny, though- I don't have cigarette cravings at all anymore. I vape quite frequently, but it no longer feels like a way to make the cig cravings go away- it's just something I do.
Best,
Ande
