Hey guys,

I'm using an Ego-mini, I've been using 100ml bottles of Hangsen blueberry and Hangsen apple(both 24mg), both 80%PG/20%VG with no issues, now from the same supplier I've got Hangsen watermelon(80/20 again except 18mg nicotine) and I got a new atomizer with it, I seem to be getting a burnt chemical taste of it with no flavour for every 6 out of 10 draws, the draws are also of hot flavourless air as if the liquid it's being atomized. I also tried the watermelon in a known worknig atomizer incase the new one was faulty but still the same, I also filled up a colleague's cartidge for his e-cig and still the same issue on that. So I know it has to do with the liquid itself, I'm wondering, is it possible that the liquid(even though its the same PG/VG mixed as my others) is just too thick that the atomizer isn't atomizing the liquid??

It sounds like you gould be having a problem with the juice being too Thin. 80/20 PG/VG? That would be fairly Thin. If you set your P.V. up and after around 6 draws it seem to go flavorless?? Are you using a CE2 style atomizer? I would suggest adding a tad bit of V.G. The flavor will change.. But the juice will hold the Wick Better. It sounds like its falling from the silica at a rapid rate. I could be wrong.. But that would be my suggestion.. I hope this helps :)

Sounds pretty strange to me, given everything you have said. Thickness of this liquid should not be an issue at 80% pg unless something has gone wrong. Does the liquid actually appear to be any thicker than the others?

Hey Madhatter, I'm using basic plug and play type kit seen here :
Ego Mini kit 650mah

so no adjusting or part replacements I'm afraid but I know it's not the kit itself as I've tried the liquid in a few colleages now and they're getting the dry burn as well :(. The VERY rare normal draw out of it is awesome, it's the same % mix as my blueberry (same supplier same brand) and the blueberry is flawless in the kit, I honestly cannot think of anything causing the issue. I've tried it at different angles, different e-cig gear from cheap to expensive brands and still not working, there's no visible reason why it's not lol. I know the issue is with the liquid itself, it hasn't been contaminated or anything. Should I leave the bottle of juice open for a day or 2 to air it out or anything?

I've tried about 6 watermelon juices and even mixed my own with flavors from other companies. I'm 0 for 6 - they're all nasty. I probably set the bar too high when hoping any one of those would taste like a watermelon jolly rancher. I gave them all away to friends who somehow did enjoy them, but I think it was because they had about 1/8th the taste buds I do.
