Well, this is a good question ! From my own experience I can tell that PG is more fluid , and is to be used if you want something like stealth vaping, because it produced less vapour than VG fluids. The TH (throat hit, so called) is stronger at PG fluids than VG ones....
It is a matter of taste the kind of juice you are using. Just figured out some ejuices taste better in PG (like CIGAR taste,if you like that one). I'll mix my ejuices in different composition, some on 50 % PG and 50 % VG, others on 80 % VG and 20 %PG

As far as I know ejuices are NOT entirely VG or PG, because , at least the flavours are in PG liquids, so , hard to make an 100& VG juice.
Being a matter of taste, seems hard to get an correct answer....Herd yesterday some peoples CAN be alergic to PG....so, they have to stay on VG only.
Maybe a good way is to try some ejuices, in very small (sample size) bottles, so you will get the right answer.

Basically there are some receipts on the juices, like : TRADITIONAL , ICE-BLADE,VELVET CLOUD.
Velvet Cloud is made by VG 80 % and WATER 20 %, ...but still some amount of PG due to the flavour.

I think a wise ideea should be one day to mix your own juices to meet all your reuirements

All the best,
Mario

the flavorings don't necessarily have to be suspended in PG so it is possible to achieve a 100% VG juice, Alien Visions among others offer these options, this is primarily important if you find out that you are a member of the tiny population of people who do have an adverse reaction to PG, otherwise imho its hard to tell the difference between 90% vg and 100% vg.

I would highly suggest getting sample sizes of various flavors and VG/PG ratios, once you have an idea of what you prefer you can start ordering larger quantities of your favorites.

hey guys I'm placing my order for a Riva 510 so I am getting more juice too. Whats the difference from PG to VG what doe it mean? I guess I should just get a few different small bottles to try till I learn rite?

I get 80pg/20vg. That's what was recommended to me when I started and it's what I see recommended by a lot of juice sites. I experimented with the ratio and found I like one particular juice in a 60/40 but it does tend to clog up my cartos faster. I might drop back to 70/30 on that juice. The more VG, the thicker the juice.

My all day vape is from nhaler and I believe his is 80/20. Never have any problems with his juice at all. Vapes great in tanks, dual coil cartos and regular cartos.

Actually, it's a very small percentage that have any reaction to PG. I believe I read that less than 10% have PG allergies.

Liberty Flights has all their many flavors in both 100% PG or 100% VG. I vape some of both. But the difference in taste between the same flavors, one in PG and one in VG, is significant, at least with Liberty Flights liquids. The PG is definitely more "flavorful" or allows more of the flavor to come through than the VG. At least at 24mg strength on my variable volt Darwin, I saw little difference in the throat hit. That might not be the case with small 3.7 volt PV's. I think it comes down to more of a subjective, taste preference unless you are part of the small miniority that is allergic to one or the other. The VG does produce more visible vapor but this has nothing to do with the "feel" of how they vape.

I like the VG thick juices for a few reasons, I feel you need to add a bit more flavoring to them as well, but they dont seem to run through my Attys as quickly as PG does either and they hang around the bridge longer too and just seem to vape better for me, I couldn't care how long my Attys last or if they get clogged up once in a while, I just like a heavy juice over the thin runny ones. Everyone is different in this dept I'm sure so to each there own it's all a personal preference in my opinion
