VG is food grade vegetable glycerine, selling at health food stores for around $5 a bottle. VG is thicker than PG. I use it to cut the strength of 80/PG/20VG liquid I sampled. It seems that too much PG gives me heartburn. The juice I am vaping right now is really good, and gentler on my GERD. It is from Kick Bass Vapor "be oh be's OMG" 60/PG/40VG.

I vape 100% VG. I have allergic reactions to too much PG. VG produces a thicker vapor and more of it, but it lacks a hard throat hit. PG vapor has more kick to it and dissipates quickly as it leaves your mouth. Most long-time vapers use at least some VG in their juice.

You may find you consume up to 3 mL of liquid per day. If you order a month's supply now and find you don't like the liquid, you're stuck with it. For that reason, I suggest ordering 15 to 20 mL of liquid for your first order and be prepared to make another order a day or two after you start vaping. I know I like RY4, so I can keep a fair amount of that on hand; but for trying a new flavor, 10 mL is about as much as I want to grab in case I don't like it.

Just make sure you order from a company that has a presence on ECF. You will find that many of them offer sample packs. These are usually five bottles of 3 to 5 mL samples and you get to pick the flavors. Many sample packs are only available in PG, but some offer blends of PG/VG or just VG. You can often get more flexiblity regarding PG/VG blend in larger sizes from the same vendor.
