I have read in many places that e-liquid is poisonous and should be washed off if it comes into contact with skin. It should obviously not be swallowed however I want to know if all for liquids are poisonous or is there difference between VG and PG liquids? My riva leaks alot even with a small amount of e-liquid and I'm sure I'm accidentally consuming a lot of e-liquid.
Please advise. Thanks :)

Exactly, the nicotine is what is poisonous, not the VG/PG. VG is vegetable glycerin, essentially vegetable fat. PG is propylene glycol. PG is used in many foods/flavoring/medicines. PG is also what creates smoke in modern smoke machines.

Pure nicotine, a drop will kill you in an extremely painful manner from what I understand, and can be absorbed through the skin. The levels we are dealing with in an e-cig are relatively small. That doesn't mean precaution should not be taken, but it also doesn't mean that a drop of e-juice would kill you.

You know I have had juice all over my hands and forgot to wash (my mistake) but have not had any ill effects yet, I in no way would ever gat 100% nic on me though it would kill you.

I spilled 100mg nic on me before with no ill effects but it was washed off. Nic absorbs into your skin slower than you think. Just use common sense and remove any that spills and leaks.
