First time poster, sorry if this question has been asked before, I did what I could to find the information first.

My mom recently got SmokeStiks to get off regular cigarettes and I tried them, now I must have some e cigs of my own. I've settled on the Joye eGo Electronic Cigarette Kits Including the Joye Ego Kit | Joye Ego Starter Kit | Joyetech Ego Products from LiteCigUSA! that I saw highly recommended in another thread. Does this come with the disposable cartomizers or the refillable ones? And if they are refillable, which I would prefer, how far do the bottles of liquid stretch?

Does refilling your own carto's come out as a better deal price-wise?

Thanks in advance!

That kit comes with 5 pre-filled cartridges that you can refill over and over with the juice of your choice. You might like the pre-filled, you might not. I hated them, so I just took out the filler and washed everything in plain hot water. Then I stuffed the filler back in the carts, filled it with yummy juice that I bought from VaporBomb and vaped my head off.

Refilling is always going to be cheaper unless you start making your own juice. Then it gets crazy cheap!

Well, a 30ml bottle could do quite a few refills...at least 30 or so, considering the size of a regular cartridge is around 1ml. I would strongly suggest that you start with small bottles of 5ml in different flavors. You'll also want to consider the strength of your nicotine and the amount of your PG/VG mix. I started with 18mg, but still had the occasional analog craving so I got some 24mg. I vape both strengths; 18 is for at home when I tend to chain vape. 24 is for at work or out running around town. This could end up being completely different for you.

Get set up with a good amount of different flavored juices in 5ml bottles so you get a good idea of what you like and don't like. You'd be surprised at what becomes your "daily vape." I have a thing for fruits, coffee flavors and my own mix of RY4.

You've made a good selection. I've been vaping about 6 weeks now. I ordered three 30ml bottles of various flavors to begin with. If I had known better at the time, I would have probably started with the smaller bottles to make sure I liked them, but compared to the cost of cigarettes I felt it was worth the risk. I was a pretty heavy smoker (2 packs a day), but I am just now getting to the bottom of the bottle of my favorite flavor. Altogether I would say I've used about 45ml total in the last 6 weeks. It really surprised me how long the liquids have lasted.

Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble, Blueberry Pie, Cafe Mocha, Kahlua and Hypnotic Mist are my favorites from VaporBomb. My fiance and I also had them mix up some banana and Dark Vapure that we really love. Yes, they have a page where you can mix up to three flavors of your choosing. Just be careful with that because if you do this and don't like the mix, you can't return it because it tasted gross.

One of my favorite juice vendors is VaporBomb.com. They have 5ml bottles of all their juices....get several. They always throw in a freebie or two, too. Nice. My favorites from them are 1) coffee, 2) peach, and 3) blueberry.

The peach and blueberry caught my eye. Have you tried banana or watermelon? Just wondering if anyone thinks they are worth a try?

Oh I like that Vaporbomb.com place, the prices are quite good. They have peppermint flavor :?: I have this thing for peppermint :) It asks for a VG/PG ratio and I just don't know what that means. I'm gonna have to learn some vape speak I suppose.

VG is Vegetable Glycerin. It's what produces vapor. It smooths out your vape and adds a bit of sweetness. It can also mute some flavors, so be warned.

PG is Propylene Glycol. This is what gives you throat hit. You know, that tingle in the back of your throat when you inhale? Yeah, that. It's thinner than VG. Higher PG means stronger throat hit, but it also means less vapor.

I'm leaning more toward a 50/50 mix, but I have tried a 60PG/40VG mix. I'm just not a big fan of throat hit and I love sweet clouds of vapor.

The guys at VaporBomb are good and so is their juice. They mix fresh and ship quick, so some of their juices need to do what we call "steeping" or "aging" so the flavor can develop. If something seems like it doesn't have enough flavor or maybe seems a little "off", just let it sit for a few days and try it again.

How hard is it to "make your own" juice?

I love the Peppermint flavor, I have one with a brand I smoke regularly. In a review I uploaded I was quoted as saying "it tastes like Christmas." lol
